When in La Buca di Enea you HAVE TO try a plate of ham and sausage and their pasta! Its toscanian and home made and we emptied our plates even though we werent too hungry. :) The host absolutely loves what he is doing and we could taste it in the food. Unforgettable experience!

This tiny restaurant is divine. We had to wait a bit, but it was well worth it. We shared by he tomato caprese salad, ravioli, and wild boar. All were excellent. We sat next to the lady who operates the bike rental store next door. She gave us great Intel on Italian cooking and best biking months in Italy.

We visited this small restaurant during our 3 day visit in Pienza. We read good critics and wanted to try it out. First of all Antonio, the guy who runs the place, is a fantastic host. All the pasta we tried in the 2 times we ate there (yes we returned for more) were great. Its not a place with... More

The smallest restaurant I've ever been to - can seat maybe 20 people, but lovely food! Best Caprese (sweetest, tastiest tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella). We had lasagne and pasta with mushrooms for main course. This was followed by a complimentary Grappa, Lemon or Liquirizia liqueur. Highly recommended!

The restaurant recommended to us was closed. We stumbled on this gem by accident. Possibly the best salad we ever had. Tomatoes bursting with flavour. Amazing lasagna too. Cutest quaintest 5 table restaurant. Owner very friendly. After meal he gave us limoncello which I never had before but was excellent. Going back again tonight!

By recommendation we visited this restaurant one night in Pienza. A very small and crowded place - with a very busy owner. The food was excellent and as expected with some good wines in glasses to follow. After the service had been done in the restaurant, the owner had more time to talk and be the host he wanted to... Having been here before, I was keen to visit with my partner. It did not disappoint. The food was indeed fabulous, a terrific wine list - friendly and helpful service / once again it did not disappoint. The owner who also cooks the food is clearly proud of his restaurant - don't want to tell too many people or I... More

In five days we had lunch here 4 times. Great food. Friendly owner. It is a tiny place that doesn't close in the afternoon which is why we orginally went. Most places in the area close after lunch and we arrived after lunch from Florence: very hungry. We returned again and again because the food was so good.

We ate a lot of very good bruschetta throughout Tuscany, but the very best we had was served at La Buca di Enea. The tomatoes were just bursting with flavor. All other items were excellent too. Definitely a must visit restaurant in Pienza.
