We had the bread soup and the Pici Cacio e Pepi. I recommend both and the bread soup was absolutely amazing with the hint of rosemary.

A very nice meal, all the dishes that we ordered were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. More importantly, this little pearl has a very warm and cozy atmosphere that makes the entire experience even more memorable.

The wine was well priced and delicious, the food was a mixed bag. The Italian staples were great but the "Big Grill" was a disappointment as it was all fried in batter and was ont what we expected (although that may have been our fault) the proprietor took swift action and adjusted the bill and produced complimentary grappa as compensation... We were lucky to get a table in this very busy Osteria where we had a great meal. I really enjoyed the pici (a thick spaghetti available in Tuscany) with meat and black truffle - it was absolutely delicious. My partner had the pici with cheese and black pepper accompanied by white beans with rosemary which he lived too. We... More

Lovey atmosphere in the garden Perfect Tuscan gastronomy: the salad, the mixed grilled meat, the tiramisu! All home made of course:) We got ourselves a Brunello of 2011 (2010 is sold out and unaffordable by the way) by Casanova di Neri which was 8 eur a full glass and this is definitely the best wine I ever tried. What an... More

We have been trying to return to this restaurant since the first time we visited it 3 years ago and didn't have luck until this trip. If you are in Pienza, this is the restaurant to visit. Yes, all the restaurants are good but Baccus goes above and beyond. Start off with the Truffle Fondue (you will thank me as... More

We went there randomly for lunch and were not disappointed. I liked how the staff treated us and helped us make our choice. We got some mix of salami and cheese plus various crostoni (very good!!!) but the top was their fiorentina steak, just perfect!

A very nice restaurant and very warm service. The food was quite nice, what made the meal special was one the best Tiramisu I have ever had. It was highly recommended by the staff and turned out to be brilliant!

Popped in around 8pm for dinner with our little one (2year old) and were seated straight away with a high chair provided for our little one. Quick service for waters and bread. Fantastic menu (not pizzas) and decent wine list. The food was simply glorious and a cut above anything else we have tried so far in Italy. We had... More
