Popped in around 8pm for dinner with our little one (2year old) and were seated straight away with a high chair provided for our little one. Quick service for waters and bread. Fantastic menu (not pizzas) and decent wine list. The food was simply glorious and a cut above anything else we have tried so far in Italy. We had... More

I ordered Pici with Ragu sauce and sliced truffles. It was fantastic. This was my favorite spot in Pienza.

Went to visit the old town of Pienza. We chose this place for lunch, by coincidence and don't regret it. From the moment we entered and till we left we felt welcome by the friendly and alert staff, and we all had great pasta dishes. Prices are decent, size of servings are good, and the food was well-prepared and nicely... More

I stopped here because the other revered places were packed. The food okay...least they had house wine. The food was just above bland. And I looked around to see if just me and I guess just my impression/dishes. And what got me was the attempt at overcharge for coperto...the lady apologized and offered a free cafe. Overall wouldn't eat here... More

The staff that served us were very friendly and obliging. Our meals were all outstanding there wasn't a dish I could fault. The atmosphere at this restaurant was peaceful and calm. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We happened by this cute little ristorante today while walking the quaint streets of Pienza. The wait staff was very attentive. One of us had the daily special - ravioli carbonara and the other had grilled sausage with Marsala onions. OMG! Delicious!!! And very reasonably priced. I would go back again!

Went here for a family dinner based on TripAdvisor- and it was not as good as expected. The texture of the gnocchi was chewy, instead of pillow soft. The wild boar pasta was fine, but we've had better. However, the delicious tiramisu left a good taste in or mouth and the service was excellent.

We loved our evening at Baccus. We were welcomed as though we were long lost friends. The food was excellent, the wine delicious, and the room warm and cozy on a winter evening. But a real treat here were the people who shared their restaurant and food with us. The owner and the woman who took care of us were... More

What to say, Pienza is beautiful and this lunch matched. We had a wonderful meal, no negatives, all positive. We ordered the house wine, mixed salad, pecorino cheese tasting (awesome) to start, then pici pasta with meat and black truffle and my husband ordered sausage with marsala and onions. Everything was excellent, including the very friendly service. We were all... More
