Hidden on one of the streets near the main cathedral, it is a must for lunch or dinner. The staff is super friendly and speak English. A menu offering typical Italian food. Their carpaccio was to die for and their spaghetti ragu is one of the best we have ever eaten. A trip to Pienza is not complete without stopping... More

Don't miss this little gem if you are visiting Pienza . We have eaten there every time we have visited and never been disappointed . They are not open all the time so best to book ahead as they fill up quickly

Very likely among the best in Pienza, itself much more crowded and over-touristy than I remembered it from years ago. We had very good first courses: pici (fresh, thick fettuccini) with aglione (tomato and - much - garlic sauce) and pappa col pomodoro - a tomato and bread crumbs thick soup. One of two second courses was very good: tagliata... More

We went here because our host recommended it but the food was just average for the area, which is still pretty good. My pasta plate was forgotten and came out late.

A superb restaurant with exquisite pastas and sauces; a warm, friendly owner; and efficient service. Extremely attentive to an important allergy issue.

We found this restaurant through tripadvisor and it was the best experience to start our vacation in Tuscany! Very nice and cute trattoria with exceptionally good service and amazing food! We had the bruschetta with tomatoes, the pecorino cheese starter (which was absolutely amazing) and for main dishes we had the tagliata and the tagliatelle with duck and white sauce.... More

We had bruschetta which was very good. We had rabbit and fried lamb chops along with mixed salads. The rabbit was very tough in a tasty olive, pine nut and rosemary sauce. The lamb chops were breaded and deep fried. It was hard to make out what was fat and what was edible meat. The salads were fresh and good.... More

Disappointed in this place... As it had such high reviews. Food was flavorless-- I got the gnocchi pesto dish and was totally unimpressed. Not satisfied as we have been having amazing food throughout our Italy trip ... This place dropped the ball.

This pretty small restaurant offers great homemade food! Fresh ingredients and tasty plates. We ordered pici fatti al pesto and tagliata di vittelone: yummy!!! Very good service!

We read about this restaurant before we came to Pienza and were pleased to be able to get last minute reservations. It is a small family run establishment. The dining area is compact with a small loft area for seating as well, which adds to the over all charm. Having heard about the famous "Pecorino" cheese from Pienza we began... More
