We were here for dinner and it was excellent! The staff was very professional and friendly, always worry about how our meal was going. Prompt service and the food was simply amazing! Very tasty and sufficient. Definitely a place to visit all over again. Thanks for this wonderful meal experience.

I reviewed this restaurant after our vist in 2014, and this year we made a special trip to have lunch there on a miserable October Sunday, though it was at least 20km out of our way (which, according to the Michelin Guide, makes it a two star place!). We settled for just two primi piatti, having in mind to eat... More

Reading the other reviews already written about this restaurant seems to confirm the impression I have had on two recent visits, the second of which was to celebrate my birthday - when my friends asked where I would like to go, I chose to come back here. Despite apparently always being very popular, the service is pretty quick, very jovial... More

We found this place on our way back from Marina di Pisa by the old-fashioned method... look for the busy places! Situated virtually on top of a roundabout, this restaurant is not in the most idyllic location, but the car park was packed with cars, and we took the last available table. The menu is simple... a few primi piatti,... More

On our way back to lucca from a trip to the sea at the very disappointing 'Marina Di pisa'! we spotted this simple place packed full of local Italians, so we we thought it might be worth trying. It certainly was! Everything was so fresh and cheap. We had Lobster with pasta for only 12 euros, and mixed grilled seafood... More

Our flight back to England wasn't till 5.30pm and having done the'Leaning Tower' we needed somewhere to eat. We remembered passing a few restaurants on the way out to the coast so headed in that direction to avoid the Pisa crowds and prices. We stopped at la nuova rampa as it would then only be 20 - 30mins to the... More

Well...You cannot celebrate your engagement anniversary in this restaurant or organize an important business lunch!but you can eat good, abundant and cheap fish dishes like "spaghetti allo scoglio" or fried fishes. And the general atmosphere is friendly. It is not so original, the service is not fantastic, but I will eat again in this restaurant.

Thank Tonionss
