Visited Saturday lunch time early Feb.Only 6 covers when we went. This is part of the 'slow cook' food movement. Warm basket of bread served as we sat down.Very fresh, and delicious. Had a platter of sliced meats to start, which came with warm polenta, cheese (local) salad leaves and a delicious chutney. Very much on the large size, and... More

Have been to Salo and lake Garda for nearly ten summers now and have been to this restaurant 3 times in two weeks this year. Found it 2 years ago and have been making a point of going back every year since. Service is outstanding, food is excellent, wine list is extensive but not too expensive and the proof of... More

Very good meal and service The local fish was very good cooked on a salt slab and no bones ( this was not always the case in other local restaurants )

Among a number of restaurants we visited during our stay in Salo this very cosy and friendly restaurant is a top choice. We were 10 persons who had different dishes mostly fish which were superbly prepared and presented in a most interesting and exciting way. And the desserts to follow were just delicious. Do not miss this great Osteria if... More

The food was excellent, and the antipasti was outstanding. However, the service was a little rough round the edges as orders kept getting mixed up. Overall though, very enjoyable.

Is a bit hidden from the crowded coast, but go for it! Excellent food and a super friendly service. Never ate fish from Lake Garda like this before. Simply delicious.

Located one street away from the main, touristy street, this is a lovely, quiet place. We had a good seafood dinner with a nice bottle of wine. Service was really nice, but a little slow. But we just leisurely enjoyed our meal and wine. Good find!

We visited Salò during the low season when there are not a lot of tourists in the area. We happened to be the only customers in the restaurant and we were positively surprised by friendly staff and modern versions of classic dishes of the area. The lake fish (ombrina) was really good accompanied with a glass of local Lugana wine.... More
