We discovered this restaurant just walking around Sant’Agata and it became our favorite. Most of the food is local, everything we ate was amazing and fresh,starting from the fish and the shrimps. The cakes are delicious, we will be back next year!!!

I used to come here to celebrate with all my family my (Italian) Grandma´s name´s day. As these were large and long dinners, we have been able to taste Cardillo´s cuisine in its entirety. I can only say that we can guarantee for the quality of each kind of meal: the pizzas are superbe, made in neapolitan fashion, but not heavy to digest, which is a great quality. I would of course recommend any of their "rosticceria" pieces, and please do not forget to taste the "frittura di pesce". As for the meat, the photos of those steaks speak for themselves.

Beautiful setting outside of Sorrento main town so not touristy at all.
Lovely homemade food. Alfonso is very attentive and helped us by translating the menu from Italian to English.
The meal was gorgeous, fresh and tasty. I originally ordered Cannelloni but saw someone on a nearby table being given a carbonara which wasn't on the menu. I asked alfonso if I could have carbonara which wasn't a problem. It was so good, pasta was al dente and the sauce was beautiful. Its a must to have a meal here if you are in the Sorrento area.

During our visit to Italy, we decided to go to Cardillo and the visit was exeptional! The host served us fresh bruchetta and limoncello as a gift! Truly phenomenal experience and the food was delicious. Everyone who is visiting around that region we would suggest you to hop in for a great food experience. The freshest taste of Italian cuisine.

Went to eat with friends and had a fantastic authentic Italian food with a menu pleasing everyone’s taste. The dishes were large and we ate well that evening. Fantastic food for the price and the service from Alfonso was even better! Grazie

Cardillo is definitely our best restaurant in Sorrento Peninsula and we never miss it anytime we visit Sorrento. The food is amazing and the variety very good. You can taste local food, meat fish and several kind of pasta. We love the Parmiggiana di Carciofi, Fiori di zucchini ripieni, mozzarella and salumi with local wine. Alfonso is the perfect host and Giulio and Giovanni the ideal combination for and unforgettable culinary experience. Strongly recommended for ceremonies.

Da Cardillo is perfect located with a fantastic view to the tyrrhenian sea and colourful landscape. The staff gives great and efficient service. Courses with ingredients are locally produced, and specialities served, always excellent. Affordable prices,and good local wine with peach is a favourite🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If staying in Sant Agate or Massa Lubrense, this restaurant is a must. Family run, great service, home style cooking, excellent pasta. The lasagna was the best we have ever tasted. Great steak and delicious desserts. Good local wine list, and we'll priced food and wine. Has a lovely terrace, with distant views of the coast and Isle of Capri.

We stopped here for lunch towards the end of our holiday, shame it wasn’t closer to our hotel as we would have certainly eaten there again.
Lovely atmosphere and fabulous views from the terrace. There was a large party in but service was still attentive and food delicious.

From the moment we entered everyone was so welcoming. The food was excellent. Much better then we had in Sorrento. We had lasagna and orecchiette with artichokes and sausage. Delicious. Then grilled lamb so well cooked. Unfortunately no room for dessert.

Lovely place to finish off our trip to Amalfi. Delicious food, drinks and atmosphere. Our waiter forgot to add our bottle of wine to the bill. Because I shared some pictures of the dinner and tagged their profile and got in contact with eachother. I insisted to pay the wine through bank transfer, but they didn't want it. Instead, they gave the bottle of wine as a goodnye gift. Will definitely come back when in Amalfi and I insist everyone going there. My favourite: the delicious meat!

Wonderful food, fantastic views from outside tables, excellent service, if your near here make sure you eat here. Staff were very helpful, and the service was excellent. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. We highly recommended you to everyone looking for a great place to eat. Food was delicious.

Been to Sant Agata dozens of times but never seen this place. Suggest they tell us how to get there from the main street and if its possible to walk there. Will
then make a visit next trip. Could not find that information anywhere.

Wow. Such an amazing restaurant. Just a short walk from village. Great view over ocean. Staff so friendly and food amazing. This was our favourite out of the four we tried. Thank you for the amazing food and service
