If you are visiting Santa Maria di Castellabate treat yourself with a dinner or 2.... at Perbacco, by far the best restaurant at la marina. Their menu is accurately designed by an experienced chef and will surely satisfy the most discriminating palate. Excellent wine list.

We had a very nice meal overlooking the sea. My very first experience of buffalo steak was great and we enjoyed all the courses.

Very tasty meal, reasonable prices for the portions (not big) so the idea is to try it all: antipasti, first and second. We had first and second and dessert. Great meal and wonderful service overlooking the beach.

The venus only had about 6 people seated for their meals and drinks, i understand that our party was large (14) but our average spend was touching 300€ per evening meal. We approached this venue because of its look and location with a nice view just to be told in one word --- NO. So that was that so the... More

After reading some glowing reviews here we visited this evening. We're staying just ten minutes away. We arrived on Saturday - first visit to Santa Maria and the Cilento region. We'd noticed that we've heard almost no English speaking tourists - this was the exception as there were no locals or other Italian tourists in the restaurant at all. They... More

Had a wonderful courgette flower filled starter really tasty, let it cool to get fuller taste. The main course was pasta dish with sea urchin sauce something that never had before and it was wonderful. My wife had the black rice with "one prawn" on top which was tasty but nothing like my pasta dish, I won the best choice... More

My wife and I had a great dinner. Our starter was delicious and our pastas were very creative but with very tasty and simple ingredients. Our sea bass was very nice with a crispy potato coating. Local wine was not too expensive but exquisite. We will go again during the week.

We ate here again on our last trip to Santa Maria di Castellabate and the food was as good as and possibly even better than the last time. We sat outside this time beside the promenade nad took in the lovely evening atmosphere. It is excellent value and everything was really well prepared and tasted amazing. Leave room for dessert!

Thank Gavin D
