Friendly, clean & delicious food!

Nice people, yummy food & a familiar environment! Awesome! The waiters are talking in a lot of languages, so everybody feel comfortable. The menu is very big… from traditional Greek food to pizza from the wood oven. We’ll definitely be back soon !

Good food and friendly service

One of the better restaurants in the area and good portion sizes. Aubergine starter with mince was amazing. The baked feta with honey crust was great. Kalamari starter was a mountain of food and really good. Greek salad good. Less good was the kleftico which was baked on sloppy veg and covered in cheese - prefer the classic simplicity of how it’s normally done. And mixed grill was a large portion of varying meat - some pretty bland.

i always think of reviews a little bit like this ... "less is more" but in this case! We have been guests in this family restaurant every summer for 4 years and don't want to question a single day. All dishes are very harmoniously coordinated and put a smile on your face, it is honest cuisine with that certain something of "more" I would like to give this family business 10 out of 10 points and with it this entire reward! Dear Crete visitors ... enjoy the hospitality and the wonderful food !!!!

Stunning big place with beautiful gardens and spotless clean. The seafood saganaki was the best I have ever had. Friendly staff and excellent service. Staff was very cautious with covid measures.If you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal combined with authentic Greek hospitality this is the place for you.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food

We had dinner at Sergiani Garden on one evening and lunch on two days during our week in Stalis. All meals were excellent, lovely traditional Greek food and pizzas from the wood fired oven at reasonable prices. Service was prompt and friendly, and the ambience and decor (all blue and white) was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful Greek restaurant!

Really happy that we chose to dine at this place.. What a Pretty Greek Taverna it is, excellent Ambience, Relaxing Greek Atmosphere , clean and tidy the whole place, the owner and all the personnel made us feel welcome from the moment we entered and were very helpful too if we needed anything with our baby. We reeally enjoyed the food that we ordered, I found the Seafood Risotto excellent, the appetisers too like fried zucchini, tzatziki & fried kalamari. Our overall experience at Sergiani Restaurant was great, the food, the hospitality, the service & the beautiful setting made us have a great evening and definitely going there again...

A very nice dinner

We had dinner with these friends at this place they already knew, but they wanted to go back there to try other things. We went for some appetisers, 3 or 4 all to share, where I highly recommend the octopus salad (octopus perfectly cooked) and home made fried calamari). We also had the Mediterranean seeabream and the Stifado. Very nice. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting.

Have to say it's appearance in the day resulted in us booking a table for evening meal. And pre-booking is essential. Just make sure you've got a good appetite because the meals are massive. And Quantity is matched with Quality. Excellent meals on both occasions we ate here. Highly recommended.

Raw food (chicken)

I do not recommend this place. We waited an hour for our main course (without any starters), and when the food finally arrived, the chicken souvlaki was raw. When we pointed this out, only one young man apologized and acknowledged the issue. When our dish was finally re-prepared, a man joked, "Hopefully, it's right this time, or you'll get pork souvlaki instead." No real effort was made to resolve the problem, and the second time the chicken was still raw in places. The same man joked again, "Not good again?" The staff, except for one young man, were not friendly at all. I do not understand the good reviews about the staff. The chicken Sergiani was tasty. However, that does not improve my review given this experience.

Hello and thank you for sharing your experience. The meat that we choose for our chicken souvlaki is not chicken breast but chicken thighs. The reason for choosing this type is so the meat is more juicy and not dry as chicken breast. On the downside no matter how much you cook it it will still have a pinkish color. On the second dish we prepared we almost burned it but still you say it’s rare. We cook the meat on an exact timer for all our guest. Either way thank you for pointing out it was not right for you.. Amazing food!

Great atmosphere and the food is amazing ! Lots of choices and the restaurant is located in a nice, cute environment. Rubbed by a family business. The waiter Dimitris, who speaks fluent Spanish, France, Greek, English and Dutch can advice you in any language! Kaliorexi!

Nice atmosphere

Been here a few times of the last few years and never disappoints The food is delicious very generous portions and very good value for money. The staff are all really friendly and welcomingand the restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious meal

We visited this restaurant just before the end of our holiday and really wished we had found it earlier. Beautiful setting, good service and really delicious food. The portions were huge, very generous servings. Between the four of us we had lasagne, sea bass, and pasta dishes. Couldn't finish our mains but really didn't want to leave them behind either. Definitely worth a visit. The owner came to chat at our table and said the restaurant had been in the family for 33 years.

The highlight of my trip!

During my vacation in Stalis, Crete, I stumbled upon Sergiani Garden Greek Family Restaurant, and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip. The food here is top-notch, with a fantastic variety that caters to all tastes. Whether you crave authentic Greek dishes or something a bit different, the menu has you covered. The staff at Sergiani Garden are incredibly friendly and make you feel like part of the family. Dimitris, in particular, was wonderful with his recommendations, ensuring every dish we tried was a winner. If you visit, you absolutely have to save room for dessert. The cheesecake-flavored ice cream was divine and the perfect way to end a meal. Sergiani Garden is a place I'll remember fondly and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Local dishes cooked well and great value

We are currently staying at an all inclusive hotel in Stalis anchor we’re looking for a local meal away from the hotels buffet. We had walked past this restaurant twice in the evening and was always full so after a quick check on TA we decided to eat here last night. The outdoor seating area was great and really helped the atmosphere. The menu was available in English and is quite comprehensive with both local Greek dishes, Italian and burgers! We decided to choose local dishes. First up were sardines for me and steamed mussels for my wife. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted so good. Washed down with a cold beer and a cold glass of rose wine - a good start! For our main course I had the kleftiko and my wife the man in course sardines. The kleftiko was great and had a full lamb shank and vegetables. My wife’s sardines had some salad and crisp potatoes making it a good main course size compared to my starter version. She really enjoyed both the sardines and accompanying potatoes. Service was good and we had a nice chat with the owner whilst settling the bill. Overall - simple local food cooked very well at a good price.

Bad Service

2 of out 5 The restaurant had very bad service, one waiter only. The waiter wasn’t very patient when ordering he was always in a rush and had a very bad attitude. The food was ok, therefore i wouldn’t come again nor would i recommend it to anyone.

Hello ,we are sorry you experienced an unlucky evening at our restaurant. Unfortunately at this time that you were here 1 of our waiters and 1 of our kitchen staff was not able to come to work due to medical reasons. So for a week we were under staffed and the waiters were under a lot of pressure. They have been working at Sergiani for many years and we can guarantee their manners.We hope you can understand that this was not due to bad management and hope to see you again some day.
