We had dinner here on a number of occasions. It's a wonderful location directly across from the ferry jetty with magnificent views across the bay to the 'crocodile' (rock formation). Their meat dishes are seriously good. We had the shared platter for two on a couple of occasions which consists of a whole rack of ribs (long and short), a... More

My husband ate there in 2003 on our last swing through Paleochora and had always retained fond memories of the place and the owner. This time we went back with our two kids. Some changes: The menu now specializes in ribs, which is hardly typical of Cretan restaurants (in my experience) so fair for a change of pace. The portions... More

It has plenty of choices about meat. I didn't like the fact that our oven potato was pre-cooked as well as the fried potatoes. Our dishes (pork with racki and chicken) were nice but not something special. Some local people told us that they are famous for the ribs but we didn't order them.....

The Cape Crocodile provided quality value fare at its restaurant and easily accommodated our 8 person party. The food was cooked well with many more beef and meat dishes on the menu than most Cretan restaurants.

I went here with 8 friends. The food was fine, not too expensive. The dining carte was a lot like that of the other greek restaurants in Paleochora. Nothing special.

This place is a meat restaurant for all you meat lovers. If you hesitate between methexi and Crocodile you to choose crocodile every time. Here you feel welcome, the service is friendly and professional. The lamb is excellent and the house white wine is really good.

Food was very salty and dishes were huge, we couldn't eat all. Lots of compulsory dishes (bread, raki, dessert), but I feel uncomfortable when these are carried to your table without any mention about price. Luckily only water was added to check. Food came extremely quickly (under 10min) but it was slow progress to get out of the restaurant (about... More
