There was no alternative to vegetarian ie eggs, cheese on the day we went so more vegan than vegetarian. I am allergic to onions so was given only one option from the menu, which basically consisted of a plate of boiled veg. It was very tasty but actually I could have got this anywhere so was slightly disappointing Mr JJT... More

We were in Paleochra for 3 days and lunch in the Third Eye on the second day and went back the next day because it was so good. You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy tasty food and that's exactly what you well get at The Third Eye. A good but not extensive selection of starers, mains and... More

What a treat to find this lovely restaurant that had been recommended to by a previous visitor. An exciting menu. Wide choice and brilliant ambiance. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a great time, we will definitely visit again.

It was a very pleasant surprise to find such a refined restaurant in Paleochora. The dishes are excellent in terms of food quality, cooking, innovation, fusion of cuisines, ingredients, presentation etc. For its price, it's probably the best restaurant in the area. The only minus is that it doesn't have a view to the sea or a large surrounding area.

I'm not a vegetarian but I have to say the food is heavenly. Cuisine from Middle-East, North Africa and India. Don't miss this place when you visit Paleochora.

We stayed here for one night they are extremely accommodating and friendly, we had a lovely evening meal my only criticism was perhaps the house wine could be improved, the food was great and innovative and a breath of fresh air in Crete.

We were visiting a relative who lives near Paleohora and he took us to this restaurant as it is his favourite place to eat. He’s been eating here regularly for 20 years. The location is in a side street off the south-west facing beach so it is some way away from the main restaurant area but it is well worth... More
