Today we managed to go there for dinner with friends for the first time in 4 years. The restaurant has always been very full since we started visiting Omis and the food served always looked very appealing. Now to our visit, we went for dinner with 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. We got a table quickly, the menus were handed to us immediately and before we could sit down there was a high chair for the baby at the front. The atmosphere is very pleasant, not too loud but not completely quiet either. The menu was very clear and multilingual, not too many dishes but exactly what you want in Croatia. The order was taken quickly, the drinks were served very quickly, shortly afterwards the ordered starters arrived, the children chose tomato salad and beef soup, both very fresh and the children enjoyed it very much. We parents had opted for a mixed fish platter and a mixed meat platter for two people each, both were served with side dishes, chips and grilled vegetables, these side dishes were included in the platters. As an additional side dish we had blitva (chard with potatoes) and a coleslaw. The food came to the table very quickly and hot, the quality of the products was outstanding, as was the preparation. The quantity was more than sufficient and we were only able to eat it all with a lot of effort and the help of the children. The prices of the food and drinks were very reasonable, for this quality we would have been willing to dig a little deeper into our wallets. In short: very reasonable, great quality, friendly service (most of them spoke fluent English and German in addition to the local language) and a really great atmosphere in the middle of the old town of Omiš. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Very family-friendly.

Had a lovely meal outside under the awning. We ordered the fish platter for 50 euros for 2 people. It was great! Mussels. Octopus, 2 large whole fish, filleted white fish, fries, spinach and potatoes. It was a lot and of very good quality. Recommended !!!

Very popular . No reservation. We shared a plate of sardines to start which came with fries and was good . We ordered the peka (lamb, veal, pork, chicken), which came with roasted vegetables and potatoes in a casserole . This dish is cooked under a metal dome and is a local delicacy. However ours was overcooked and the meat had dried out , only the a piece of pork and a chicken leg were edible . It was disappointing . I noticed that another table had the same and it looked much better so maybe ours had been in the oven too long . we told the waiter who said he was sorry .

Restaurant in the alleys of the city, terrace or interior, decent welcome, menu in French, very good seafood risotto for 13 euros, cheapest dish on the menu, glass of solar table wine, very decent for 3 euros . On the other hand, the rest of the menu is overpriced with meat dishes at over 30 euros and seafood at over 40, hello the changeover to the euro!! After a 5-year break, we decided to visit this restaurant, remembering the great taste and good service. This time it was bad. The food wasn't bad, but the service was terrible. It started with a mistake in our orders - the waitress taking them passed them to the kitchen incorrectly and we got squid instead of shrimp. After calling our attention, the order was changed, but the waitress looked at us as if we had hurt her. At the end, she brought the bill and when we asked to pay by card, we heard from the waitress that she had already charged the cash register, so it was no longer possible to pay by card. This was such a disappointment, we’d been recommended it but have no idea why! It’s in the old town bit of Omis where the eateries mostly seem to churn out tourist fare - why put a photo of an omelette or fries on a menu? Anyway, we were seated fairly quickly and the service started well with drinks and food orders taken quickly - and adjusted for my wife’s odd taste. The food arrived and it was just very ordinary. No finesse with presentation, most of the taste removed from the food. There were 6 of us and we were all disappointed. As a specific I was served a huge piece of tuna; I’ve got a good appetite but I could only manage half. If it had been fresher/tastier I doubt I’d eat more. It was immersed in a sauce that was brown and lumpy, which was visually disturbing and tasted no better. Most bizarrely we were left to sit for over twenty minutes without being asked if we wanted a dessert or even more drinks. I think they were just happy to have people sat at the tables outside to lure more unsuspecting diners in. My advice? Avoid and visit one of the restaurants up the mountain in Naklice or Gata.

Most other restaurants were closed so this was not our first choice but we were hungry. The waitress was super welcoming and spoke great english. We ordered the peka (lamb, veal, pork, chicken) which came with roasted vegetables. We also had cabbage salad and mixed salad - the mixed already has the cabbage and was quite excellent. The spaghetti carbonara was tasty - not particularly al dente. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked and the boiled potatoes were so creamy and tasty. Huge portions! The waitress was also nice enough to pay our parking meter for 1 more hour so we could finish our meal. Overall, we had a great unexpected lunch!

Went for the fish platter for two persons - it was massive and beat my wife and I - but it was great meal. Fish comes whole so you have to faff about taking the head off and avoiding bones, but it was incredibly tasty. Would recommend a visit. Seemed to be a lot of local people eating here as well which is always a good sign.

This restaurant is very popular. On our second attempt we managed to get a table inside and, after sampling the food in other local restaurants, it was clear to see why it was popular, it was on a different level. We were a family of 4 with two teenage children, one a vegetarian, and we had the veggie burger, basically a vegetable and potato cake which was delicious, the MILO burger, Carbonara and Tuna Pasticada with gnocchi. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was great considering how busy it was and we would definitely recommend.

They were extremely welcoming to my wife & I this evening. My wife had already chosen what she wanted and I wanted something very different. With being so close to the sea I wanted fish but the platters were all 2 person. The waiter suggested the one that was a bit of everything and said he would charge half for me. Fab suggestion and epic meal! Not sure why the price is suggested to be middle priced. £28 for 2 large glasses of wine, a starter, a main and half a platter! That is a fabulous deal!!
