Meat plate for two was perfect but don’t eat anything before it because the portions are BIG. Everything perfect the staff friendly and helpful and food is amazing.

Absolutely best service on our whole 7 day stay in Baška Voda! The only place that remembered that we had been there before- and even remembered what we had last time we were there! Service with a smile and exceptional good food! absolutely recommended!

We stopped for a short stop in Baška Voda and decided to go to Restaurant Mare - a decision we did not regret. The food is great, with a selection of meat and fish, as well as pasta. Dessert was also special - ice cream...with pumpkin seed oil. The best thing however was the kindest waiter ever who attended to every wish we had. Very good restaurant, had some lovely food and very good service from a very good informent and funny man. Got a very good steak, and the vegans in our family had a very nice vegan pasta wich was customised by the kitchen. Overal very hood...experience eating here! And after the diner we got some house licuor wich was very strong but very good ;)More
We were six people visiting restaurant Mare after a recommendation. My husband and I choose the seafood platter for two with fried mackerel, sea bass, sea bream, octopus, squid and crayfish. Really fresh and well cooked fish with mangold & boiled potatoes and vegetables. Excellent...white wine from Croatia. Our friends had the meat platter to share which they enjoyed. Mare is not cheap but the food and service were excellent and this particular evening included live music – three guys playing the guitar and banjo singing mainly Croatian songs. I had strawberries with vanilla ice cream & green pepper sweet sauce for dessert – I wonder if the strawberries were really fresh… they were heated with the green pepper sweet sauce and served warm. It’s common that you get a glass of sweet cherry dessert wine (on the house) – often with an ice cube – so did we. Anyhow, we enjoyed our dinner and the jovial waiter wondered “why?” when we finally would like to pay and leave for the evening! We all said that we would like to go back to eat at Mare but then we discovered Del Posto restaurant…More
Nice place with delicious homemade tagliatelle. We also got to know the newly wed couple that worked there as waiters. They made the visits even more pleasant.
Excellent restaurant with waiter that goes extra length. Food tasted great and was really creative. We highly recommend!

A restaurant to remember - great relaxing atmosphere.We really loved waiters here because you can see how much effort they do.In my opinion,food is better than other places , big portions and quality of ingredients that you can taste and feel.Fish is my favourite,and lava...cake. My friend said that veal is excellent. Wine list that fits various of meals. Pro tip : make a reservation to get a table that you want for dinner.More

This restaurant is a MUST when you visit Baska Voda.I would recommend it to anyone. Firstly, if you decide to go there tonight, book a table - its free and it will save your time (no waiting to get one). Food is good, but service...is what makes them outstanding. Waiters are so friendly and attentive that you get a feeling you are special,which is actually the point of gastronomy - every guest is important. We are coming back for 3 years in a row and will come again this summer for sure! I recommend you to have PEKA and fish plate for two.More
