We had a delightful lunch here with a couple we met on a hike in Curi Cancha reserve. The restaurant can only be described a cute. It’s upstairs above the Jimenez Bakery and is bright sunny with good people watching windows. We had a beautifully served very nice lunch. The presentation was lovely and it had a very relaxed, friendly... More

Our cab driver recommended this restaurant for us after our night tour. It is a cute restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Main Street in Monteverde. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine and the cheese plate to start. We each had fajitas and the meat was delicious. I would highly recommend dining here.

Stopped here to eat as part of a tour. The service was quick, the staff was wonderful And the food was delicious! Very reasonable prices as well. There are several restaurants in the area as well, but would greatly recommend this one!

The restaurant is a little bit more upscale in terms of price and dishes, but the food is very tasty and the service is solid. They decorated our plates with beautiful flowers made of food-colored mayo. Pretty neat! I got a surf n turf combo with steak and shrimp. Good stuff. The only downside is that I believe the vegetables... More

We stopped in here based on the recommendation from our bus driver. We were not disappointed. Quick service and big portions. Two of us got the Arroz Pollo and loved it. The burrito was great too. Get some dessert too! They do take Mastercard here and you can pay in dollars.

The portions are large, the prices are reflective of that compared to other smaller restaurants. This one is tucked in upstairs. It was clean and had attentive service. There is traditional CR cuisine as well as fresh fish on the menu. I enjoyed my dish of chicken, rice and beans.

We had lunch in this second floor restaurant sort of hidden in the main street. Good food, nice service and value for money - a good recommendation by Fransisco of Monkey Tours

We were taken here with a group from Monkey Tours after going to the cold rain forest. It was nice to be inside and warm. We were a large group of 15 people in all. The service was great, OK we were the only customers. I ordered white wine and had vegetable fajitas which were 2 small homemade tostadas with... More

This excellent restaurant is hidden on the second floor of Jimenez Bakery down in Santa Elena. So when you look for it, look up and you will see it. Large windows and a nice atmosphere in a rather small area that will surprise your appetite. It is own by a local family and they run it together. Go ahead and... More

With little signage and on a second floor, this is easy to pass by. Do so. Although the couple on staff were friendly, their 3 year old son was omnipresent on a motorized tricycle, NASCARing his way among the tables the entire time we were there. He was briefly joined by his slightly older sister on a scooter The menu... More
