Food was good and the price pay also the view. With both low or high tide the panorama is great, with stunning colors palette and incredible water. Is perfect for just a drink if you like so....

I went here with my family on my Dad's birthday and it was one of our most memorable experiences. The ambience and the food is unparalleled. We were there during dinner time so we experienced the high tide and a full moon night at the deck.

It's a cool spot, definitely a tourist attraction. Strongly recommend you get the seafood special. It's a lot of food and a bit expensive, but it's HUGE, so my gf and I shared it and were very happy.

I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw the Rock for the first time in low tide, but once inside it had a nice charm to it. The outside seating area is absolutely relaxing and the view is gorgeous. I had the crab pasta..I think that's what it was called..and it was pretty delicious. The Mojito was also quite good.... More

I was expecting more than what I found, the only special thing is the restaurant is inside the sea on top of a rock, and it has a nice view over the island. But once there, I found all very basic, nothing special about the food, I expected the menu to be reach with seafood being a restaurant on the... More

Yes I made it. We have made it, another milestone :) . I asked my girlfriend to marry me. The atmosphere was so romantic intense that made this our day so special. Food and staff fantastic, what to say? A well crafted place by the architect of the universe

I had been waiting for months to go on holiday just to try the rock restaurant. We went for lunch, my husband, my two children and I and we had the most incredible family lunch of our lives. The experience starts straight away: the tide was high so instead of walking we were taken by boat to the rock, we... More

An absolute must, small so you must make a booking. Food is quite pricey for South Africans paying in Dollars, but worth every dime. Outstanding !!

The rock restaurant is definitely a must visit in Zanzibar. The island feel and the fact that you have to get on a canoe to get there gives it an immediate romantic. Did not actually eat anything as I was feeling a little stuffed from breakfast but my husband loved the food. Took many Instagram photos lol

I definitely recommend a visit if you are in Zanzibar as it’s like a postcard of the island. The location is great and you can include it on a day when exploring around. The views are great and it was nice to get the sun sitting down on the comfortable sofas of the terrace. The staff is really nice and... More
