We managed to walk out to the Rock and, over a delicious lunch, we watched the sea rush in so that but 2 hours later, we were surrounded by balmy turquoise waters. Lunch was very tasty, the fresh juices delicious and the communication with the restaurant when we wanted to change our booking the day before was swift and efficient.

We went there for Valentines lunch. It's amazing place, beautiful view and delicious food. Cocktails are also fantastic. I can recommend gnocchi with vanilla sauce it worth every penny 😊 if you are on Zanzibar you have to go there.

I was a little concerned that the Rock may have been overhyped, but I can assure you it is well worth the effort - and money. Yes, it's a little pricy, but the food is second to none, as is the view and service (special thanks to Renalda!). Brilliant day out and I'll defs be back (though I'll have to... More

The staff is very friendly and nice. The food was surprisingly good! We had the seafood platter and it was really good.....including tender calamari... More

The location is beautifull! but I would recommend only going for a drink or just the view from the beach. Staff was uninterested and not very friendly, very different from the rest of the locals in Zanzibar. Good food but pricey but of course you know this beforehand so thats your own choice. We were a little dissappointed about the... More

Better goes for sunset! Too expensive for ordinary cuisine. Much better drink a beer and say hallo to the waiters

This place was very cute. It's in the middle of the water with great views from practically every table. The service is great, although it was very slow at first but then they got a hang of things and the food is great for Zanzibar! We had two mains each. I highly recommend the green curry and the lobster plate.... More
