Had a great romantic diner. Lovely food and great wine list (which is hard to find). Funnily, I walked on my high heels with low tide and later noticed there was a path halfway haha. Some advice for the restaurant: we missed the napkins and...More

The Rock restaurant has somewhat of a reputation here in Zanzibar because of its stunning and quirky location. But the restaurant I would suggest has perhaps become somewhat complacent with its high status. The booking services were excellent, the boat to the restaurant itself was...More

Amazing location! Pretty crowded and busy, but the location does it all. You take a small boat to get there when the time is high.

The food is great and you can't beat the location. Best time to go is when the tide is high and during daylight hours so you can admire the views. We did feel a little rushed and the waiters did not seem to know anything...More

The Rock is, like the name suggests, an actual rock with on top a restaurant. Don’t be fooled by it’s size, because there is enough room inside for, I quess 16 tables and it has an outside terras at the back where you can have...More

I didn't eat here, just had drinks. prices were high and there is an excellent restaurant just opposite in the beach at Upendo which has a huge selection. I preferred to eat there and visit The Rock for the view and drinks.
