We found the reatorant after reading good review. Look like nowhere. The host, Istevan, was very nice. We ate BBQ reabs, lasagna, and tartar, with beer and 2 glasses of wine.
Every thing was great.
So we came back tonight. Istevan welcomed us. We got the BBQ, hamburger, mangalica shnizel, all was very good. Just the pig trotters were not eatable. And a bottle of Pino noar.
Very recommended.

If you go for a hike closeby, at Rokahegy, just a few minutes walk from there you can enjoy an amazing lunch or dinner at Ürömi Hütte.
If you are here in the weekend, make sure you book ahead, because its so crowded!!
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and made sure we get a table outside even tho we didn't have a reservation and found this place by accident...
The food was out of this world delicious, fresh and huge portions!!! I cannot wait to come back here with my family again!

I go often to this cosy restaurant at the top of Rokahegy between Csillaghegy and Urom as their offer is pretty unique in Budapest. A delicious meal, great service in a relaxed atmosphere where no stress is apparent. Time seems to have stopped there. It's great for seeing friends with or without family and dogs are even welcome! If you're lucky you can even see the sunset from the terrace ;-) Definitely addicted to it and their delicious lava cake. You can even order for take away if you prefer to eat at home!

Located in the heart of the village, the restaurant offers a central setting, though the ambient atmosphere could benefit from enhancement.
Upon our arrival, we were informed by the waiter that only pizza was available, as alternative menu options would be accessible starting at 12:00. Despite this limitation, our experience with the pizza was delightful. Curiously, other guests were able to order and enjoy a variety of dishes, including soups, daily menu, etc. The service remained consistently polite and professional throughout our visit.
However, a noteworthy aspect arose towards the end of our meal when the waiter communicated that a service fee was already included in the bill, "yet the tip was not". This practice, while not our preference, left us feeling somewhat uneasy and pushed us to provide an additional tip beyond the already included service fee.
In terms of pricing, we found it peculiar to pay more for a pizza in this village setting, albeit one with an affluent population, than we would in the bustling tourist center of Budapest. This pricing discrepancy was unexpected and contributed to a sense of peculiarity in our overall dining experience.

Every time we go there with our friends we have a great time!
The meals are simple but delicious.
The atmosphere is so unique and makes your feel far from uppish restaurant, it's very family friendly but doesn't prevent romantic dinner. It's relaxed.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch in Uromi Hutte. The place, the service , the meals are all in harmony to make you enjoy your stay. The Sunday meat soup was fantastic (almost as good as our mother/grandmother used to make) and the other meals were also great. It is a great place to visit to enjoy a friendly , warm place with top quality meals!:-)

Took my elderly mom there for dinner. She likes traditional dishes but also open for new trends. This place is a great combination of traditional food and new age cuisine. Everything we had was tasty and could even be offered in a 5* restaurant. Also, the service is fantastic!!! Friendly and attentive staff - which is very rare to find nowadays. Go there and try ;)

Staff was verry friendly and gave good advice about the food (also for kids) and wine. Menu in English and alsof staff speaks English. Food was excellent.

The restaurant is on the Southern side of Rókahegy, that is Foxhill, between the outside Budapest small town of Üröm and Csillaghegy in Budapest III. district. But enough of geography, let us see gastronomy.
The place is rather unpretentious looking and has a medium-sized terrace. In the summer, eating outdoors is an option. The terrace still has a view of Hármashatárhegy. However, a house is just being built just across which will block the view rather sooner than later.
We had a simple menu of mostly Italian dishes, with beer and wine. Their draft beer was excellent, so is the selection of wines. The dishes were also were prepared and appetizingly served. Service is attentive and intelligent, without knowing we had the feeling that the waiters have a stake in the business. Try if you happen to pass there, for the more demanding a good option to the nearby but rather full Schieszl, another remarkable place.

We went there with my friends, in a group of 8. My experience: the daily soup was too thin, the parts of the main course were just not matching in taste and were partly cold, the desert was great. Some ordered ribs, they were satisfied. The service was not professional, one of us got the main course 10 minutes later and the dumplings were sort of raw plus the duck was cold! Waiter payed no attention to the leftovers and the remarks. We all felt that the food and the service was not in line with the high prices and the hype around the place.

If you are dedicated enough to travel to nowhere, you will be rewarded by friendly staff, great pizzas and OK food. Bonus is the real ski hutte feeling.

We came in here with my wife to try something else then we usually have in Budapest. We were checking the menu and there was enough food on display . We chose the fried chicken wings oh my god that was delicious . Never had so well done chicken in my life, I am a French fries person and hate steak fries but that was the only option so I ordered and actually I was so happy that I did :)
What I need to tell else is the service, when I am in an European country I am always missing the attitude of my Turkish waiters friendly and helpful. But here I felt home both of the waiters which helped us were incredible friendly and had a big smile on their face.
Will I visit this place again?? No doubt the answer is YES :)

I read few reviews and I know I wanted to try pizza, because I am a fan. We reserved a table near to the entrance. Staff was very kind, but I was wondering why do they put all the jackets so near to the kitchen?!
Drinks and food were good, we will check this restaurant later on for sure.
Parking is available in front the building.

We usually go there for lunch. I specially enjoy the Thai soup on Tuesday. They serve really high quality dishes, only the quantity is sometimes too small. Still I can really recommend as it is tasty, fresh and amazing! Enjoy!
