This is very local and reminded us a bit of America. The staff were friendly contrary to some of the locals.

I stopped here a few weeks ago for a late breakfast, in truth I have been using the place for years, and to reach here on your journey North you must leave the A9. A worthwhile detour. This is not fine dining, but excellent working short order fare. The breakfast (all day) is just what the long drive needs, excellent... More

Have been stopping here to eat for years and it's a really friendly, clean inexpensive place to eat. One of the family has to eat gluten free and they are very accommodating, reassuring us with their knowledge of the whole cross-contamination issue, in a way some larger franchises should learn from.

We have used this grill a few times following visits to Newtonmore and having to vacate our holiday cottage early. The breakfasts are great and a good size - excellent value for money. It is really just the usual truck stop cafe but just what you need. We'll be back in October!!

Went here because nothing else was open. I am so glad we did! Friendly service and good food! The prices were good. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The food was really good, freshly made. The service however was appalling. There were 3 staff and the restaurant has been busy before we arrived. My husband had to get menus, then after waiting almost 15 minutes he asked the waitress if she could take our order. The response was " I'm busy I'll be with you soon". Fair enough... More

After reading the other reviews, I really don't understand how it scored so highly. The whole place was quite dirty, the server who took our order was quite rude and had no manners and the food was extremely average. Very greasy and luke warm. Even tried returning to see if the first time was maybe just the wrong place and... More

After a journey of some 10 hours from near London, we stumbled across this place at Breakfast time. Perfect timing. We needed petrol and food. Got both. Breakfast was very good. The cook/owner was very hospitable. A well cooked breakfast at a great price. Would I eat there again. You bet!! We had breakfast on there on the way home... More
