Fabulous location by the river. Very warm welcome and superb service by the staff. Fabulous lunch, even catering for this Coeliac. Cannot fault. Highly recommended

I knOw we visited out of season, but make an effort! Had dinner here, just a burger & a plate of faggots. Burger was poor. A burger in a bun with 2 lettuce leaves and 2 slices of processed cheese & a tub of overlooked chips that had been cooked in old oil. The faggots were ok but just tasted like plain... More

Great setting and good range of drinks available. Warning - they don't promote last orders and stop serving at 23:00....to the minute!

Great location next to the river, disappointed on first visit as stopped for lunch after a long walk said food 12-3 but when we arrived at 2.20 chef had left. Went back next day great food and the best home cooked fat chips I've tasted in years. Staff lovely and friendly and reasonable priced

A lovely place for a quick bite or a drink. Lovely atmosphere, staff are really pleasant and the location is ideal, along the banks of the River Wye. Part of the restaurant is dog-friendly, too!

It took us a long time to get to Symonds Yat on a Friday evening so we needed somewhere for a quick bite. Friendly service and good basic pub grub which is not a negative. Decor is quirky and comfortable rather than smart.

Nice old style pub. Stopped by for dinner recently, glad to find it was dog friendly. Staff pleasant and food nice - decent portions. Would have been nice to have the fire on though as it was freezing!

Lovely waterside pub with a pleasant atmosphere we had lamb burgers which were delicious. The building does need some love but no reason not to visit.
