Very picturesque, great for outdoor seating by the river :-). Coke float was an unusual treat as you don't see them very often these days!

It is nice to sit in the window looking out over the river, but that is about it. The restaurant is basic at best and food ordinary pub grub. Nice friendly staff and decent position.

We stayed at this property from the 18th to 22nd July. Enjoyed our stay immensely. All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable with ample supplies of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits and a coffee machine. Meals were delicious and plentiful, especially breakfast, with... Stayed for a few nights. Food was average pub food and room quality was poor. The toilet seat was hanging off and the shower room was barely big enough to dry your self off in. The only saving grace was the fact it's on the rivers edge. The tranquility of the river makes for a relaxing time. Over all I... More

Beautiful building, amazing setting. The Rib Eye steaks were close to the best I've ever had and I'm from Texas!

Olde worlds pub right on the banks of the river Wye. Lovely outside seating area, super to sit and watch the canoes go up and down. Also possible to catch a ferry over to the opposite bank.

We visited YOFI a few times during our stay, it has a lovely garden that our boys could run around in and feed the ducks, the food is delicious and a WIDE variety of ciders and gins!! Make sure you go when you're in the area 😊

Visited for a snack at lunchtime. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We shared a board meal which was plenty for two of us. Would definitely visit again.

We ate here twice on a recent holiday in Symonds Yat and it was very good both times. It's right next to the river Wye a very attractive location. The food is good and the cider and wine is excellent, the prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly.

The rooms all have a river view, and are very homely. The staff were very welcoming, and were fantastic in letting us into our room early after getting back early from our very soggy canoe trip to dry off. The choice at breakfast was fantastic, and the meals in the pub were great.
