The terrace occupies a whole alley in historic Minorca, and this restaurant offers a variety of dishes for any time of the day. We went for lunch and had prawn carpaccio, marinated octopus, and “tartar d'atun,” raw tuna salad that was very nicely seasoned. We returned for dinner and enjoyed an excellent paella, rich with seafood including several different shelled... More

Hidden away just off the Mahon - Fornells road, this restaurant is a must-visit. Beautiful country setting, complete with outside eating area with hay bales for seats. Specialising in local fish, caught that day, mostly fried or baked. When we were there it was filled with locals and the place was buzzing!. Friendly staff, attentive service - even to twice... Service very nice. Food very good. We had daily menu, fries were incredible! Error in Trip advisors location. We went because we saw it in the map as IN Mahon and then it happened that the restaurant was elsewhere. We had to take the car. Location is correct in the address but doesn't appear correctly in the map.

The restaurant feels like it has been there forever and largely serves locals, but that could have been because it was April. At the server's recommendation I got scorpion fish, which was excellent. We all enjoyed our meals. The preparation was straightforward but well executed. I could see how some might consider it a bit too old fashioned, but it... More

If you want expensive fish, cooked badly and served by sad faced waiters with no regard for table etiquette, then this is the place for you! Having been seated in the covered terrace, the most apparent thing is the lack of a view. High walls and opaque shutters mean only giants will benefit from this location. The menu, only in... More

We were expecting something better. Up rutted and potholed drive to parking area. Available eating options are presented handwritten on a notebook (a novelty) and we chose the menu del día at 40 odd € per couple. Tuna fishballs (buñuelos) and mussels were excellent for starters but very large dish (for 4) of chips with fried eggs piled on top... More

If you love fish this is the place to be. Every day fresh from the local fishersmen. Real, plane without lots of things around it, just as fresh fish should be. The local catch of the day , a plate full of all kind of fried fish, togehther with french frites with an fried egg on it. Typical Menorquyin style... More

Very nice restaurant and good located, good views from the terrace (countryside). If you are looking for some fresh fish, this is your restaurant! Good quality, quiet atmosphere and good price. Don’t forget make a booking if you are thinking to visit them, they are usually busy.

The Trip Advisor map is WRONG. The restaurant is not in the city of Mahon, it is just north of the city on the fornells road about 1.5 km north of the roundabout near the port. There is a sign that says restaurant 100m. Then turn left (if going north). One lane road to restaurant. We went in September so... More
