We shared the fish soup since it was touted as the best in town. It was thin but tasty though the tiny shrimp were tough and tasteless. We would rate it a C based upon other fish soups in Norway. Our main course was sea trout. We would rate is a C as it was bland and the vegetables were... More

Service is poor, food is average. Prices are high which is normal a tourist location like Geiranger but are high even for Norway standards.

The food was normal not good but normal. The biggest problem was the waiter. He act very rude to us. We didn't want the bill but when we finished our meal he immediately gave us the bill. Then he said the table was reserved at 7.00 pm so you should leave the restaurant but the time is 6.00 pm and... More

The food here was not as good as I had been led to believe, and the burgers were entirely average. The beer list is long and presumably interesting, although the menu lacks for an explanation of what we could expect from sampling a few of the drinks, essentially you take your chances and order randomly. Service was very good. Nice... More

Had a sandwich with local smoked ham and a ham and cheese platter for lunch. It was very tasty and with great quality! Recommended!!

Excellent food. Had the trout with herbs. Vegetables tasted great. The rest could do with a little seasoning. Balholm organic apple cider - a real treat if you want something non alcoholic. Chocolate fondant with vanilla icecream and berries tasted well with a balanced espresso. A bit busy in july, so the waitress was a little stressed out. Relaxed athmosphere.... More

...but we could not. We entered the (almost empty) restaurant and a waiter immediately said: "I am waiting a big group, so take a seat and be fast". He was serious. We went out after having explained him that he should not even think to address this way anybody, henceforth, a potential guest. Never again.

Decent burger as well. Really liked this very popular eatery. Everything they served was noteworthy, fish soup divine and meal unto itself, burger tasty, and strawberries with vanilla ice cream outstanding and generous. Server was friendly. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is they lost the order (?) of couple sitting near us ...and took them awhile... More

Superb food and great service. Thank you Chloe! The 3 course menu was excellent and beautifully presented. Nice location next to the fjord. Lovely to be able to eat outside.

This place was so delicious. We're back home in the States and I'm still thinking about it. It's a great little restaurant using fresh and local ingredients. The vegetables were delicious, which I find very telling in a restaurant. I had the fish special and my husband had a burger and both were great. The dishes were straight-forward but very... More
