This place is absolute amazing! I’ll poggio is and old wine house and the wine is really good. We visited the restaurant in September, the food is fantastic. My wife and I ate at this restaurant many times during our stay in Tuscany. The food and wine were excellent every time. The waitress was as kind and friendly as can be. The owner was usually there and she was very friendly. I can't...say enough nice things about Poggio.More

I was riding my bike in the area when the sign of Il Poggio intrigued me. After a very short detour you reach the top of the hill where the hotel and restaurant are located. The staff was very nice and efficient. I sat at...a small table in the veranda and ordered carpaccio and pici. The food was delicious and generously served. Some house white wine completed the meal. Price was quite reasonable, I would say even cheap considering the excellent food. Heartily recommended!More

A dreary March weekend, but a beautiful view and a great meal! The estate wine was great, and super reasonable. A complete experience!

One of the best restaurants in this part of Tuscany, using their own produce from the farm- and with the best 360 views ever! They also do their own excellent wine, olive oil and other typical Tuscan fare- with their own shop on the premises....It is also a great equestrian centre with fabulous horses, talented instructors and a large manège. Mainly meat dishes- their own Tuscan pork and beef, and lamb too- very little fish. The owner is on site most evenings and helps with the service and is always happy to give advice on food, wine and the local area.More

This is a larger agriturismo with a very nice restaurant available to the public. We travelled here from our accommodation in Radicofani (about 20 minutes by car). The surroundings are beautiful at sunset with views across the hills. The food was delicious, and, although slightly...more expensive than some of the local options, we felt it was well worth it for the authentic Tuscan experience.More

Almost no fish is served. Having eaten there for several dinners in a row we were disappointed to see the very same dish offered after four days. And by same I mean same. And all at an exaggerated cost.

Part of the "Agroturismo" Il Poggio, the restaurant was excellent. Every dish prepared at time of order. The picci (local pasta hand made by them, melt in your mouth specially when with the ragu' of wild boar. Don't miss it.

So many great dinners here. Loved the prosciutto over lettuce with shaved pecorino, pasta with tomato sauce (with and without meat was great), and soups & risotto were delicious. Very accommodating to celiac/gluten free needs.
