Old fashioned restaurant and nothing wrong with that

This is an old style restaurant with proper tablecloths and napkins. The restaurant has the most amazing views over the town of Ostuni and the sea. We arrived for lunch after market day in Ostuni. We went for the set meal and were not disappointed. There was an interesting and not rapacious wine... read more

This food doesn't taste of anything. That is how we have it here. Comical but true. Great views, hence the over-the-top prices, and the sniffy attitude to customers, but food (to be fair, thankfully, starters only) that ranged from boring/pedestrian downwards and a bill that left nothing out but regrets.

Friends and I ate here last September. Two of us wanted it to be a treat for our guests ( two others) and so were willing to pay extra for this meal. Everything was wrong. First though our table was in a chilly spot they told us they could not close the windows(!) We were moved - as were the... More

Nice restaurant, nice owner, decent service, great view .... that's where it sadly ends. Food less than average if edible (they will hold you to eating the fare they provide to make you pay when you are giggling at the akwardness of it all in the end ... so be warned). I mean the food is edible, but not worth... More

Small, hidden, expensive, and worth every penny! Great food, witty waiter, perhaps the best restaurant on my 10 day visit to Italy. Don't leave without a glass of Vinsanto!

This is an old style restaurant with proper tablecloths and napkins. The restaurant has the most amazing views over the town of Ostuni and the sea. We arrived for lunch after market day in Ostuni. We went for lunch during our Apuglia vacation. The owner of the place was very nice and offered us a table next to the windows, which have an amazing view of Ostuni area. The food was delicious, particularly the carpaccio de tonno. The service was very good, too, and they made sure we were having a good time and that... More

The restaurant was recommended to us for a treat dinner. Everything about this place seems to be random, beginning with the decor (modern white tables lightning and furniture to old school scooter and coca cola box in the corner). I understand the idea to be posh restaurant but it's not working and the food is very very average when put... More

We came here for lunch on our anniversary. On entrance, there was no one around and we waited for around 5 mins for any service and to be shown to a table. We were then bombarded with 3 waiters pushing for us to order less than 30 seconds after being seated. I ordered a basil tomato pasta which was 15... More

First at all, if you come to eat here, don´t expect you will eat huge portion and pay nothing, this isn´t a low-cost restaurant. If you are not prepared for some particular gastronomic experience together with an awesome view for which you need to pay, don´t visit this place. However if yes, then it´s a place for you. This restaurant... More

Ate out for sixteen nights in Southern Italy on recent visit, and this rates last of my sixteen meals. It was overpriced, the service was stiff and unrelaxed and the food was very average. The biggest shock for me was paying 20 euro for two 33ml bottles of "craft" beer. The standard italian beers were not available. I should have... More
