We have been a few times, it is not cheap, but then you get what you pay for, and the staff are very nice...everything is done with a smile...can highly recommend this restaurant...and it's open on Monday nights, which is often a problem in villages...around Provence!More

I couldn’t recommend this wonderful restaurant more highly! We have been on several occasions and each time I say, “That was outstanding !” Yet when we go again they raise the bar even higher!!! I only wish they could teach me how to cook, especially...the soufflé!More

Even though the lunch menu only gave a choice of two dishes per course, the quality of all the food was first class, very good selection of wines, and a very helpful and friendly couple managed the service very well in a nice atmosphere!

Small restaurant with small menu which I find helps focus the chef and can provide quality. In this instance it did. My wife and I had a truely excellent meal and will happily return. We had the foie gras followed by a beef fillet and...the Grand Marnier soufflé. A big meal but not over filling. The desert is a true speciality. As we left my wife said she could eat the same meal again the next evening. This was exceptional as my wife and I have in general lost interest in restaurants as we try to eat organic and in general cook better quality food at home.More

We had a wonderful dinner here, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. This is an upper end restaurant, the prices are not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for. Our meal started with a complimentary appetiser which was tomato based...and very refreshing, this was followed by another complimentary pre-entree snack of pate while we drank our champagne. The staff were great and explained in excellent English those aspects of the menu that our poor French did not enable us to properly translate, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they took great care of us throughout the evening. We really enjoyed our meal here and recommend you have at least one dinner here during a stay in LourmarinMore

What a lovely place. Visited with Mrs Smith and two daughters and boyfriends for dinner. Friendly and attentive staff delivered conspicuously good service and the food was delicious. We sat outside on a warm evening and had a lovely time. Bill was just under £500...for 6 people having 3 courses a la carte, 3 nice bottles of wine and kir royals to start. Highly recommend.More

Le Numero 9 is a gem tucked in enchanting Lourmarin, France. The food and service are exceptional, and the prizes more than reasonable for a high-end restaurant experience. I was the only vegetarian in the group and they graciously accommodated my needs.

We had a table in the conservatory with some very comfortable arm chairs. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a pleasant ambience. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The duck main was well presented in a sauce that was full of flavour. Although I...only asked for wine by the glass I was offered a choice. The apricot desert had cooked fruit in an interesting sauce. The bitterness of the apricots was balanced out by the sweetness of the sauce and of the meringue on top. A very pleasant lunch!More
