We took the lunchtime menu, which we found was good value. All the courses were beautifully presented, light, and the textures perfect; the trout almost melted in your mouth. The lemon and thyme freshly cooked rolls are also particularly worthy of mention, as is the strawberry cheesecake. The champagne, although not cheap at 22 euros/glass, was good quality. The parmesan... More

Me and a couple of friends from work went there to have lunch during the week. The area where the restaurant is located is not very popular, but it's close to the airport of Toulouse, if you are into airplanes it might be a plus. The diner menus are expensive in my opinion, but the lunch menu seemed like a... More

Attended a group dinner here with about 20 people. Set menu, but it was based on the regular menu items. The place is nicely laid out, with a main dining room and a couple of smaller rooms off the the side with some level of privacy. Not too over the top in decor, clean, fresh, white table cloths, etc. Typical... More

This place is a very contemporary building and we were both looking forward to it greatly, however we were thoroughly disappointed. When we questioned why one of the main courses was burnt we were laughed at and told that it was meant to be that way. I think some of these restaurants try to be too clever with food tastes... There are many who believe that Chef Yannick Delpech is a genius at the level of Ferran Adria and César Ramirez. L'Amphitryon, Yannick Delpech's restaurant goes all out to display the chef’s creativity. The restaurant is in an odd location, behind the Toulouse airport. We visited on a Sunday evening, and oddly enough were the ONLY table at the restaurant.... More

Excellent food well presented and never disappointing. It is off the beaten track but well worth going to. In summer the terrace is superb.

Our sat. nav. had some difficulty finding this restaurant, it is a residential area close to the airport. The modern decor is sophisticated and service on the stiff side. This was somewhat relaxed with the presentation of the wine pairing - playfully hidden - which invited a little discussion. The food was very good, were it not for the high... More

We had the "Petite degustation" which I would say is more than enough (9 courses, 136 € + 45 € for the vine, duration ca. 3 hours). As exptected the dishes were extraordinary, always a creation of several differnt flavours, in two cases I would even say too many or too contrary ones. But all in all it was very... More

Rated 2 stars by Michelin is really over-rating this restaurant. While innovative, the food was not consistently excellent. Some courses were close to inedible. We selected a recommended wine even though it was quite old (1985). There was a great deal of sediment, and any sommelier worth his salt would have decanted it to mitigate this problem. He did not.... More
