Haute cuisine, friendly staff. The bruscetta's were heavenly. Also the shrimp kroketten were delicious! The fries were self made. One to remember if you want to have a lovely dinner.

A delightful meal with exceptional starters and and excellent main. Attention to detail is high on the agenda at this lovely restaurant overlooking the town square. Helpful staff who made a couple of English visitors very much at home with a detailed explanation of the...menu, perhaps this is why we thought the food so good as it was what we expected. Either way it was cooked to perfection and tases to to remember for all of the right reasons. Wine by the glass was very reasonable and the Pomerol fantastic.c value. Sadly no room for a dessert but if they are as half as good as the food we did eat we missed a treat.More

Pleasant service but ordinary food that was over-priced. The cinema seats felt comfortable but there is more attention needed to getting the menu really right as there is good competition on the square.

We had a fantastic evening, delicious food and eye catchers on our plates. All served by the gentle and charming owner. This couple is doing an extra excellent job. Everything was top! Thank you both for giving us a wonderful eve.

We like to stay in Veurne and we love to eat at Brasserie Lowie – excellent food, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. This was our first visit this year and we noted that the standard a la carte menu has been reduced, but is supplemented...by a number of specials that change on a daily basis. My wife and I had no problem finding starters, main courses and sweets that suited our tastes. As always, the food was cooked to perfection and was preceded by a tasty amuse bouche of Italian sausage, feta cheese and a mix of chopped olives, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic – delicious. It is not the cheapest restaurant in town, but excellence does not come cheap!More

First visit for dinner. Excellent menu and hard to choose. Had Scallop starter, Irish rib eye and Vanilla Ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was impeccable as the restaurant has only 30 covers and owned by a husband and wife team. Gin and tonic was...beautifully flavoured with cucumber and spices. My husband's Cafe au Lait came with chocolate biscuit and a tiny fairy cake! Fois gras and escargots chosen by rest of party. Veal kidneys, shoulder of beef and Scampi also looked superb. Highlight of brief visit to Veurne. Best meal this year.More
