We were coming from Pune and wanted to eat local coorg food.We had our lunch at this restaurant. We ordered Akki roti, Pork curry and rice balls. We didn't like the rice balls, but pork curry and roti were amazing..It has a nice ambiance and they serve quick.

I believe in tasting local food when I am traveling to a new place. Sometimes it is disastrous and sometimes its really good. We went to this place for lunch. We had ordered lime soda, passion fruit drink, coorg style mutton, rice ball and the day's special baby bringal curry. I really loved the food. The mutton is really well... More

Do not expect an fantastic ambiance, but the food is definitely worth trying out. Loved the local pork preparations and the rice noodle accompaniments. The owner was extremely helpful in advising us about the menu and even gave us a cook-book of some of the dishes on the menu.

The place offers authentic coorg food and i believe is a must try at least once,All the dishes are made in typical Coorg style with a distinctive sour taste in chicken. Don't expect a fine dining experience. Its a small place with bare minimum standard of cleanliness and minumum(2) staff so you may have to wait for order if its a... More

I went to Coorg Cuisine with great expectations. As we got d menu, we were surprised to see such limited number of dishes, n absolutely no choice to make! After a lot of thought we ordered chicken curry, traditional rice-balls and rice chapati. After waiting for about 10 minutes the dishes were served to us, and as we looked at... More

Undoubtedly the best Pandi curry in town is available here. With that we tasted bamboo shoot curry, rice roti and ghee rice. I much say each dish satisfies the expectations of pure coorgi food. We also had jaggery coffee, which I felt smelled a little smoky, but again I have no experience on coffee and its variety.

A must visit when you are in madikeri for authentic coorg food. Try pork dishes... For vegetarians try bambooshoot curry. It's a bit congested with limited seating. Service is average.
