A wonderful place to get great coffee, nice cooked breakfasts and cakes. Can get really busy and the service can struggle to get through orders quick but it's worth the wait (if they are busy) Recommended

We came here for brunch before our departure from Hanmer on a day of horrendous weather conditions. The menu had good variety and the food ordered was delightful (huevos rancheros) was superb. Portion size slightly below my liking but could not fault for flavour. One small point, do not get a flat white as this came in a size fit... More

Had breakfast 2 days in a row. My food was outstanding both times but unfortunately my colleagues Eggs Benedict were over cooked. Not good

Tucked away off the main street, this place is up there with anything you’d find in a big city. Standard brunch/lunch fare (eggs bene/Florentine/omelette, toast/porridge, pancakes, kumara fritters, huevos rancheros, big breaky, and for lunch risotto, soup of the day, salmon salad, chicken or lamb burgers etc.) with a few cabinet treats for afterwards. We were very impressed with the... More

This cafe is boutique in what they offer. For example, I had Eggs Montreal which is Eggs Benedict but with manuka honey smoked salmon. Amazing flavour :) They make a lot of their special sauces which makes for a different breakfast offering than a normal cafe.

We popped in for lunch on a Saturday in the school holidays, incredibly busy cafe. Great selection of Gluten free food. Food was very well presented and hard trying to choose, my corn fritter was filling and yummy. Best coffee friendly staff. Small indoor seating area, larger outdoor area with gas heaters for winter

We came here for lunch and the food came faster than any other cafe I've ever been to. The food was yummy and portion sizes were good. I would definitely recommend this.

Enjoyed our coffees with freshly baked muffin and scones so much that we decided to return for a light lunch. Seafood chowder and pumpkin soups were just right. Another favourite in Hanmer

Whom use child labour. Breakfast for two at almost $50 seems high for a cafe in small town nz. Could be priced better. Foods okay

Best coffee and muffins in Hanmer. Not much more to say. Smallish seating area inside but large covered area outside with several gas heaters. Always visit when in Hanmer.

Thank Phil W
