We love "el argentino". Because it is one of the places in Canoa Quebrada, where you can have a proper BBQ. Located at the south end of Broadway, the restaurant is often very busy and therefore, we sometimes book a table, which is usually not necessary in Canoa. So, if you like meat, you will not be disappointed.

The first time I went there was five years ago, it moved and now is in a great place. The steaks are the best choice, really tasty. I just think they could have a wider range of side dishes. I recommend!

We went 3 times to this restaurant and one time was for 31/12. On this date they had a menu which was overpriced, but the beef the chorizo was excellent. The owner was not specially friendly, but the service was acceptable. The meat is really of high quality and they grill it the way you ask ; really a good... More

I just returned from a fantastic meal here with my family. We all had the rodizio (mixed grill) which was enormous and very tasty, price at R$90 / person including dessert. The staff spoke only Portuguese; I had a Portuguese phrase book and some enthusiasm. Our waitress was attentive, showing great patience and good humour. We got to taste several... More

Due to its proximity to the ocean with its strong onshore trade winds, the first thing you notice is that a fine sandy grit covers everything inside. But this is a common denominator here in Canoa Quebrada. That said, the food is apparently of Argentine extraction with various forms of meat heavy dishes on the menu. Or to use their... More

Nothing overly awesome. The food was ok, had the all you could eat. The lady that waited on us was rude. Maybe she just didn't like Americans being there, I don't know. The atmosphere was very nice, decorated very good. Location is at the end of a strip. We were there during a festival. The town is quite cute, and... More

Had lunch at this Argentine style streak house at the end of Broadway. While I asked for the fillets ao ponto (medium rare) they arrived on a table top grill bem comida (well done). However, they were tasty, and a bargain at about $12US for three small fillets, steak fries, and two small sauces. Try getting that in the US... More

Wow! Had Baby Beef (chateaubriand) - delicious and ridiculously cheap! The service is friendly - although they do not speak much english - communication was fun though!

Very nice place with great food. Our meal was delicious. We did not love the service. We felt some things in the menu were not well explained and that the server was a little pushy. Overall though, we enjoyed it.
