Again another very over rated place that is in welcoming and in friendly. Maybe it was that everyone who seemed to work there was too stoned to notice any visitors who came to spend money and have a lifetime experience. Sad that such a cool place is so pathetic when you experience it.

It's a very unique bar with a lot of local flavor. I'm glad I had the chance to visit but I wouldn't go back. It's so small that if there are more than 10 people there you're going to feel cramped. Didn't try the food so I can't comment on that but it certainly was fresh.

An experience of a lifetime! You can't miss it if you're nearby or take a trip to Treasure Beach. Saw Dolphins along the way. Captain Floyd is awesome, experienced and tons of fun to help you get to the Pelican bar! He's taken us several times now. Enjoy a red stripe with lobster or catch of the day!

Had a great time visiting this bar half mile out at sea. The beer was cold which was great on a hot day. The view was stunning. A definite stop when you are on the south coast.

Feels like the ultimate escape. Laid back vibe them gives you the Jamaica you have dreamt about. I charted a taxi here from Negril. Bargain for best fair but I think $25 to 40 pp is fair depending on your taxi and group size. After the picturesque drive prepare yourself for a quick boat trip to the paradise. Lovely sandbar... The most unusual "beach bar" ever, in fact, no beach, just in the middle of the ocean on a sand bar on stilts.. Get there by boat only.

A great place. It was overcast when we went there but the staff and water were warm. We played dominoes with Floyd the owner and managed to win one game. Bebe our sea captain was an expert in riding the waves and an excellent tour guide. We will certainly go there again

This is a must stop place even if don't want to eat or drink anything. You can swim in the water, see sting rays, or play a game of dominos. Bring something from home to leave behind or something to carve your name in the deck. I've been here 8 times and will go again in January.

Loved it here. Great place to spend an afternoon relaxing. We did not eat, but the drinks were delicious. We also were lucky, in that Floyd was there for our visit. Everyone is family.
