They didn't have steak pie so I opted for Fish and Chips. Fish was OK but the batter was undercooked as were the 7 large handcut chips, hiding under the fish. Service was OK, but I wish I had gone to the chippie next door.

Popped in on a recommendation from a local and was not disappointed! Had 2 large coffees, a lemon tart and slice of rhubarb pie for £12. Good selection of homemade cakes and freshly cooked breakfasts being served around us looked lovely and all well priced....More

I visited early in the morning for their advertised opening time - the cafe opens later than the butchers shop, so one to watch out for. There's a traditional Scottish breakfast on offer and of course they use their own meat. Sausages were tasty and...More

Whenever I’m back in town I usually meet a mate for breakfast, last couple of times we’ve met here. Service is fine for a small cafe but the meat is second to none (as you would expect from a cafe attached to a butchers). Mate...More

45 minute wait for a toastie? Really not up to standard, the food was ok when it arrived, similar wait for customers at the next table just waiting for a bowl of soup.

Myself and family popped in for some breakfast. The photo actually doesn’t do it justice. The food was delish! Sausages were probably the nicest I have tried. My son had pancakes with bacon and demolished the lot. Nice surroundings too and staff were lovey. Added...More

Called in for an early breakfast. Was delighted to see it’s open from 8.30am. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a slice and potato scone roll and a bacon roll and both were delicious. Couldn’t fault it. Thinking of making this a regular haunt.
