Service was great on a Sunday of sunshine for a visit. Had the Farriers lunch which in effect was sausage salad. Bit disappointing as sausage not of best quality, should have got ploughman's. Wife had a fantastic toasty. Had lemon drizzle cake, which was one...More

A very welcome break after walking down from the hills after viewing the Atom. We sat outside on a beautiful day. They had an interesting menu. Plenty of families with their dogs and children all enjoying themselves. Not expensive and friendly staff.

Really good quality food served with a lovely pot of tea. Very efficient service. Love the quirkiness and Victorian Range. Always a treat to visit.

We called in after a lovely walk through the village with our staffie. The place is warm and welcoming. We sat in front of the lovely fireplace range and both had pie and peas and a pot of tea for a very reasonable price. Our...More

This relatively small cafe is cosiness personified. The decor is like an old cottage and the old cooking range on the wall, complete with lit fire, completed the look. The menu is relatively limited but as I had come specifically for the pie and peas...More

We stopped in for coffee and cake. The service was friendly. The decor interesting and attractive. Drink and food came promptly. The coffee and cake were excellent. A very good experience. We stayed indoors but there are also outdoor facilities. The ice cream looked good...More
