Gluten free fish available but NO gluten free bread and butter. Tea with 2 teabags was £1 49 PLUS 45 pence for the extra teabag! Scampi was in a thick hard pre-formed "bullet" shaped outer case , the tiny amount of fish inside was raw and floating in liquid ugh. At £8.99 we expected better. Always called for fish and... More

The restaurant is spacious, clean and good décor. The staff are pleasant and efficient. A good, varied menu for a fish restaurant. I had a cheese and onion pie - delicious - and a lovely salad. My husband had fish and chips. A huge plateful and all delicious. Good value. Good food. Great service. Well worth a visit.

I've not eaten fish, chips and mushy peas in years, so my expectations were high. I was disappointed. The restaurant is clean and attractive, the service is quick and friendly, but the ambiance is a bit that of a large refectory. I'm sure that it's not, but the food seems a bit industrial. Bland, without that "wow these are great... More

Good portions, tastes great, good price, the restaraunt is decorated lovely gives a real seaside feel the bathrooms were lovely and clean!! Oh and the food a great too loved the curry! Only downside was certain waitress with blonde hair was rather rude and not polite which let it down but overall very pleasant visit! Loved the fishtank too!

Called in today to order chips and gravy and a few other items. Was told they don't do it. The chips come in a box and the gravy in a carton. The girl behind the counter said they don't pour the gravy over just in case it spills. Ok for that to happen whilst on our knee. I think they... More

We have eaten here twice recently. First time was a Friday early evening, it was a busy restaurant but the staff were friendly and efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The fish was superb, crispy batter not at all greasy. Hot chips. The 2nd occasion was a week later but on Monday 20th June at... More

Four of us stopped off at Banny’s Fish & Chip Restaurant at Boundary Mills this Saturday afternoon 9th July, we were shown to a table by a very welcoming and friendly member of staff. We ordered Haddock, Chips & Peas three times, my wife asked if it was possible to have steamed haddock with a side salad (Not on the... More

Another family shopping trip and a good excuse to have lunch beforehand. As always it was very busy but we were greeted warmly and taken to our table. Three of us had cheese and onion pie whilst the other had fish and chips, all great portions and delicious. Staff are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for... More
