Freshly cooked, generous portions and very reasonably priced. The hand cut chunky chips are a must. This is a great place to eat in the bar, upstairs in the dining area or outside over-looking the Teign Estuary. A beautiful location tucked away on the Back Beach.

Every yr we holiday in teignmouth and every yr this place is our favourite to sit and have a drink & look at the views. Had fantastic few meals here but you do need to book at peak season understandably so. Lunchtime sandwiches are very appetising too. I do think they need to watch their prices now wetherspoons has moved... More

Only popped in for a drink whilst in the area. Great pub with friendly staff and good choice of beers. Kitchen seemed to be very busy, so can only assume the food is pretty good as well.

No room downstairs so I asked if we could go and sit upstairs where it was empty and got told 'no, only if your eating'. She could see we were uncomfortable, having to awkwardly move every time someone came pass. So 20 minutes later... We have finally found a table to sit at. Then we turn around to find that... More

Visited for Sunday lunch with my three young children. We shared a main size portion or mussels to start, sauce was ok, but the mussel meat, within all the handful of shells, resembled a shrivelled pea. We all had roast lamb to follow, cheap burnt potatoes, and tough chewy, grizzly lamb. Yorkshire pudding was homemade and basic selection of nuclear... More

Met up with a friend who has just bought a flat in Teignmouth. Took her out to Lunch at The Ship. Fantastic staff. Great location. And THE most fabulous lunch I have had for a long time. Well done Ship Inn. We'll be back. :)
