This restaurant is a little difficult to find but REALLY is worth the extra effort in locating it . When you walk past it it has a very small door and small windows and it looks as though the place is deserted. Do not let this fool you , the place is open , just push the door open as... More

I am so happy that we chose here for our first meal in San Miguel De Abona. Food was delicious, wine was fabulous and the host really was so nice. If you happen to be in this area I strongly recommend eating here.

Small intimate restaurant in old building with amazing wood beams etc and oil lamps, very romantic! 30/4/16 - husband's 73rd birthday treat! Friendly owner helped us choose interesting Canarian dishes which he explained with pride and everything was delicious. We ate far too much but enjoyed everything and would love to return. The "selection of postres" (puddings) was 3 quite... More

Interesting menu but not very good execution. We had rabbit and goat stews which were both ok but would have been much better if served really hot, not almost cold. Especially taking into account that it is not so warm outside at this alltitude in March. Bread is not worth to take as with spread costs 4.50 euros which is... More

This restaurant had been recommended to us, but was not worth it. The food was nothing special, interesting ingredients but the taste was bland and without interest. The owner kept repeating how original his dishes were, but besides a lot of garlic, they didn't have much to them. We tried 6 dishes (including rabbit, goat, fried mushrooms, chestnuts, etc) and... Stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday, and it was the best stumble I have had for a while :) The service was exceptional, was the owner 'El Niño', he could tell you anything about the building etc, which was built around 300 years ago, and has a lot of thee traditional features still. The building has been in the same... More

This restaurant is definitely worth visiting if you are in San Miguel de Abona. They have several unique Canarian dishes that are made only from local ingredients. Try escaldón with red mojo sauce. We liked it a lot! Also they know how to make the best pumpkin and vegetable cream soups!

We had discovered that restaurant would be closed from November 16-20 so had confirmed booking for Sunday 19th. We arrived to find notice telling us that they had closed the day before, but no contact with us. So over 50 euros in taxi fares for no reason. Not good customer service, and no apology since.
