Table of 4. We had a great dinner. Some starters shared, Ensaladilla (fantastic), Corbina cubes (delicious), cheese croquettes (great)... Then some fish grilled that was superb!!! And the service and waiters really friendly and nice. After dinning you can enjoy a drink at the chill out

El Embarcadero is slightly up-market. In the evenings it is a nice restaurant for a romantic meal. They specialise in fish, but they also serve meat dishes. The restaurant nicely decorated, in nautical the style. The service is very professional. The waiters know their fish and speak their langauges. They always have special dishes, catch of the day. Amazing sangria. Strong but doesn't taste strong. Great appetizers. Beautiful view. Calm atmosphere. A nice place to visit.

You'd better want fish! Fresh and grilled. Huge portions. Not much else, not my favorite. But, again, if you want big hunks of fish (and I mean big) and potato salad you'll be happy.

Dear Client, Thank you for your comments. As we are just near the see we have a very good selection of the best fish of the Bay, but we also have meat and all kind of tapas. Best regards, Sophie More

My co-worker and I had a great lunch here today. Perfect weather, perfect service and a perfect view of the water. I had clams and a killer goat cheese app, my buddy had coconut shrimp and fish. I could not rate it higher.

Having spent a few days at the adjoining hotel, we decided to eat here for our wedding anniversary meal. Great choice, we were in early, so restaurant was quiet. Excellent staff, nice and clean and really good food. We had filo pastry cigars filled with mild chicken curry and a mango dip, we would recommend to start, mussels, then two... More

Highly recommended by a helpful Rota local, we lunched on the water-view patio with a group of Spanish families...just enjoying the beautiful sunshine, delicious fresh seafood, and good, friendly servers (English spoken, multi-lingual menu ;) ...also a nice bottle of local red wine 'Garum', a bargain at 14 euros. Try their 'tortilla de camarones' (shrimp paste tortilla), 'mejillones' (steamed mussels,... More

Best mussels I ever had! They were cooked in white wine, garlic, and leeks. Absolutely amazing. Six of us ate here, and not one of the plates we ordered collectively were a mistake. The fresh fish was delicate and flavorful. Bread and olives were delish! Would definitely revisit every trip.

We had the salt roasted fish and it was excellent. Expensive, but so worth it. We had a bottle of the house wine for 10 Euro, and it was a very respectable wine. It was very European in that we got to the restaurant a out 9:30 and it didn't begin to fill up until 10:30!

El Embarcador remains one of the places to visit when you are in Rota. I really enjoyed the new concept of the restaurant that now caters for the needs of those who just want to enjoy some tapa's as well as those who like an a la carte dinner experience. Service was friendly. Continue the good work!
