Even if you go to a restaurant not facing the sea, you can find a treasure. Villa degli Aranci has a beautiful garden, great atmosphere. The food is the "usual" superb quality.

We liked the look of this restaurant as we explored Putignano a Mare and on learning that it opened at 1 pm and also that particular Sunday was a feast day based around First Communion, we arrived at 12.55! Our instincts were not wrong. We found one of the very few tables not reserved in a restaurant that caters for... More

A truly wonderful dining experience. We had the 3-course degustation menu with matching wines & everything was sublime. Antonella came to our table several times & chatted at length. She is such a charming girl who's obviously passionate about what she does. We can't rate this highly enough - definitely the best dining experience of our 2 weeks in Italy.

We have been to all corners of Italy and this place is one of the best places we been to.What made it perfect was the exceptional service and the pasta is beautifully cooked. This is a place were Italians dine and it was fully booked every day.

Villa degli Aranci is one of the first restaurants you come to as you approach the town. It is just off SP 121 and it is a well-marked restaurant. It is not located close to the coast, so there is not a view of the sea, but, in the pouring rain it is a great alternative to walking! The restaurant... More

We decided to visit Villa degli Aranci after reading the great reviews. The owner and his wife are really friendly, but more importantly, the food was delicious. There is no point in describing the selection of "antipasti". You must visit!!!

We ate in this restaurant on two evenings during our week-long stay in Polignano. The main attraction for us was the separate gluten-free menu, very welcome but quite unusual in Italy. The food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. During the second visit they remembered us from the first and, kindly, they provided some 'little extras': some... More
