Ordered the grilled shrimps and the mixed fish. Both dishes had no real taste and the shrimps and fish were very watery. Not What you would expect from a place near the sea... Als the salad lacked any inspiration to do something Nice with the food. Personell was of poor quality and lacked any interest to hear our comments about... More

The food here might be really good - we will never know. Uninterested, unfriendly and arrogant waiting staff blocking the door quite obviously did not want to cater to a family of 4 (5yo & 2yo). There were no baby seats either (or the staff claimed there weren't any, in any case). So we opted to go to l'Archibugjo across... More

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere (after 9 pm, which is not an unusual time for Southern Italy) and an interesting, largely seafood, menu. No problem with the cooking either: my wife and I enjoyed beautifully cooked food. However, there was a mix up with our order. As a first course we ordered a pasta dish to share, with it... More

The fish is super fresh, the dishes elegant, the staff friendly and sophisticated (tough combo!) and the prices reasonable. We will come back!

We had a quick lunch here and were not expecting anything great, as it is in one of the tourist spots. But it turns out the food is very good, lovely presentation on the plates, very friendly staff and owner.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, as you enter the old part of town, it is in a side street on the left. Great food, excellent house wine, a chilled negroamaro. We sat outside and enjoyed our lunch so much we returned the following evening.

Tried to get in elsewhere, but Polignana's Centro Storico fills up pretty quickly in the summer. So, we ended up at Osteria dei Mulini, tucked in just beyond the entry arch in the old town. What a find.... I had the zucchini soufle and chicory/fava beans. My wife had the eggplant stuffed ravioli. To die for. Both. Bravo.

This place was recommended to us by the owner of our villa and seems to have good reviews in the past - so to give them the benefit of the doubt, they must have been having an off night. It was rather austere but not in a good way. It was Friday night, the place was empty and lacking in... More

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here. The antipasti was great, we had 3 between the two of us and all were superb. We had the octopus in orange, octopus carpaccio, and smoked burratina and all were superb. The pasta mains were both with seafood and good - not as mind blowing as the antipasti but tasty. I... We had a very nice lunch here. For an appetizer, we had the antipasti of meats and cheeses. We had the fried fish and the white beans with chicory. All were quite good. The service was also friendly.
