A most spectacular venue, a grotto carved out of the rocky cliff overlooking the most amazingly blue ocean you are likely to ever see. Reputed to have been a party site for the Romans, the cave has become a restaurant for very special occasions. The menu is extensive - and very expensive. But the view is unforgettable and if you... The experience that this restaurant provides is one of a kind! Getting there can be a nightmare... I recommend parking outside the city center and walking in. The views are unbeatable... having dinner over a blue grotto with waves crashing below you is indeed an amazing experience. HOWEVER... the food is extremely overpriced! You will literally pay 45 euros for... More

the place is really incredible: the restaurant is in a grotto in the middle of a clif overlooking the wonderful clear blue sea: a must ! but, we found the food average. in a region with such a great gastronomy, the food was not really elaborate and typical. the service is nice: the waiters are friendly and helpful. we recommend... We went because we had seen this restaurant all over facebook and pinterest and it seemed like a bucket list sort of place. The view was amazing, the pictures definitely do it justice, it was a fun interesting experience. It was pricey, there were three different tasting menus with associated wine flights, there were also a la carte options. I... More

Everything was just spectacular! The service was exceptional, everyone was very friendly and accomodating. The menu selection as suitable and wines were plenty. The view and ambiance was to die for! Food was delicious, especially with the wonderful sax player in the background. We were concerned with some of the reviews about quality of food, however our selections was great.... More

I saw that Travel & Entertainment rated this as one of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the world, so I thought, why not give it a try. I called from the US and made a reservation for their last seating for lunch, since I would spend the night a couple towns away in Alberobello after touring the caves in... More

Before we made a reservation we already knew the food wasn't the best you can get in Italy but still we wanted to experience it for ourselves. The grotta is indeed the most beautiful place you can dine. The thing is that everything on the menu is around €40 from appetizer to first and second course. So that's was for... More

If possible, this place exceeded our expectations. Even with all the positive reviews we read. Beautiful, beautiful space. You won't find many (any) spaces carved into a cliff overlooking a body of water. The food and service were outstanding as well. This is not a place you go weekly or monthly. It's truly for special occasions. Two alerts - you... More

There is nothing that can beat this experience. The restaurant is built into the grotto and you eat literally over the water. All staff are extremely professional and it is a truly luxurious experience, live jazz music and all. Of course, the prices are much higher than most other places in the area, but the ambiance makes up for it.

We had a pre wedding party at this restaurant and I have never seen such a beautiful place. Food very good although it was lots of courses with small portions and some of the seafood paste didn't get my children's approval. The service is good and very professional but the staff were very serious looking. The wine and Champagne are... More
