About
Location in a natural setting at the center of the city of Monza, enhancing the authenticity and feel through the gates of a timeless world, outside of the bustling city rithms. The aim is to give value to the Agricultural School products with which the hotel has an agreement, the value of the territory and its development, according to the rules of good restaurants. Precisely the importance given to territoriality makes this complex the key meeting between tradition and innovation, good food and health, city and nature. Through a path dedicated to good taste, guests will discover the reality of the farm Agricultural School, the passion of the boys for the gardening and the care of the earth, the products of their orchard and activities: they are the little marmalade in accompaniment to local cheeses of 'aperitif, the honey produced thanks to' beekeeping, rather than tasty vegetables on the side. Orchard farm is now the perfect setting for a relaxing restaurant that tries to give multi-sensory experience: intoxicate the palate with culinary tradition and rich in flavor; pamper guests through a sophisticated setting, refurbished and immersed in the sounds and scents of the earth; free your mind from the stress of everyday life.

is a very pleasant experience at Cascina Frutteto - the setting is perfect – an airy portico, well distanced tables and a view around you of the lush gardens of the Monza Agrarian School located in the same building. The cuisine didn’t quite live up to the surroundings, although the portions were generous (too generous for lunch time!) – rather basic dishes obviously prepared in advance – the stuffed aubergine was definitely too salty and the chicken fillet “alla valdostana” was adequate but not outstanding. The desserts however were much praised and apparently quite delicious – an apple cake on vanilla custard and a baked apple in pastry with orange cream. Friendly and attentive service from the young waiting staff (although a request for chili pepper produced a salt and pepper set). Lunchtime prices are very reasonable; the evening menu looked more expensive. This is the sort of place that you don’t go to particularly for the food but for the general experience, which was most enjoyable. Sorry, forgot to ask whether English is spoken but given the average age of the staff, it probably is!

Having lunch with a friend, Saturday 20 January. I went to see the place and taste the food in anticipation of bringing a small group of friends passing through Monza here. Suggestive location, immersed in quiet, very green. It is an old farmhouse inside the park. We had a very good first and second course. They welcomed us with a glass of prosecco and a snack.
Great, I'll bring everyone here!
Unfortunately I wasted time for nothing, because they are inconceivably strict with reservations: On February 14th I phone to book for 12 or 14 people on March 9th for lunch. The request is the banal one of everyone sitting at the same table and ordering à la carte. But their rule is that if I book for more than 10 people I have to agree in advance on a menu which must consist of starter-first course-second course-dessert for EVERYONE, paying 200 euros in advance. Nothing to complain about an advance payment for booking a table of 12 or 14 people. But it is unacceptable not to give my friends the opportunity to choose, perhaps eating only two or three courses instead of 4 not even chosen by them.
Incredulous by such rigidity, I even had a very kind exchange of emails to try to find an agreement, but there was nothing to be done: at Cascina Frutteto if there are more than 10 of you and you want to sit at the same table, you have to order all courses decided by the restaurateur.
I already booked somewhere else

We had dinner on Thursday evening with friends and colleagues in this wonderful farmhouse with a fairytale charm immersed in the Monza park. Attentive, friendly and present service blend with the pleasant and tasty dishes made in a harmonious way and with delicate but intense flavours. The wine list is also excellent and matches the course list very well.
Excellent value for money which never hurts. Definitely recommended.

The location inside the park is very beautiful.
Good service, very kind.
Starters: the venison carpaccio is notable; good, but not as surprising as the carpaccio, the egg yolk with fondue and the cod with polenta.
The normal chestnut gnocchi are nothing exceptional. The pork coppa with red onion was excellent.
For dessert, the pear with Merlot is highly recommended.
6 people: 4 starters, two cutlets with chips for the children, three first courses and one second course: 3 desserts and two ice creams for the children. Three coffees. A bottle of Sforzesco red (normal, but there are also better wines) and water. Total €220.
Recommended we will be back

I organized a surprise dinner for my partner at this restaurant to celebrate our first anniversary. I would say a very successful surprise! Very good quality/price ratio. Good quality raw materials and dishes all freshly prepared, without neglecting excellent presentation. Pleasant discovery of an excellent sparkling wine just added to the menu.
An enchanted, pleasant and very relaxing place within the Monza Park to spend truly peaceful moments.
Congratulations also to all the staff for their professionalism and friendliness.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had already been for the aperitif a month ago and, given the pleasant experience, I decided to repeat it with the presence of all my children and grandchildren. Excellent accommodation due to the presence of the youngest grandchildren (4 years and 18 months) who were able to move freely on the lawn in front of the table and play under the enormous tree present there. All excellent even for the diner allergic to lactose. Perfect.

Location located in Monza Park with spaces for dining outside. Too bad for the many mosquitoes present. The dishes eaten were fair (deer carpaccio, chestnut cream, pork medallion). Average prices

We had high expectations about the location, and in fact it proved to be up to the task. However, we were more dubious about the food, the reviews reported conflicting opinions but we wanted to try it anyway.
We were fully satisfied with everything. Tasty dishes and larger portions than expected, all with a very good quality/price ratio.
Kind and attentive staff. In summary, excellent experience that I recommend.

We had lunch with friends on Easter Sunday and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The set menu was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being full and the setting in the Parco di Monza was lovely. What more could you wish for- a wonderful way to celebrate with friends!

This restaurant should be four-star: it has a varied and adventurous menu, the staff are attentive and helpful, the building is historic, the setting is enchanting (if not easy to find). So why only three stars?
1) Underheated. We were really cold and got chilled to the bone. Spend a bit more on heating, please! Old buildings need a boost in January!
2) Not particularly vegetarian-friendly. And no vegan dishes. My salad was full of olives and tinned corn. Not good enough!
3) They kept whipping things off the table before I could use them (oil, lemon)! I had to pounce to keep hold of them!
Definitely a place to go in Spring-Summer. I'll be back when it gets warmer!

I would be happy to pay 13 Euros for a lovely primo - but what do you actually anticipate while sitting outside in the beautiful surroundings of Monza Park's Scuola Agraria (Agricultural School)? You will wait for 3 over-cooked and over-stuffed cheese pasta that will leave you hungry and disappointed. And then when you complain, the waiter will say "But you are the only person who complains!" To be fair, they finally did give me a discount of 5 Euros for the entire check, but only because I made myself clear that the value for the money was not right. Maybe most Italians would not complain, but and American living in Italy certainly would! My advice - give customers quality food that actually comes from the school vegetable gardens, give decent quantity and quality, and don't try to make the scuola agraria into just a business. It is a beloved part of the the park where we have been coming for years - don't lose this opportunity to be not only fair, but provide nice food at a good price.

A great location, a rustic chic venue, very romantic and cosy. The atmospher is stunning and the quality of the food is excellent. You can choose to go for lunch, a classic dinner or for an appertizer, in any case you will choose the best way to enjoy top quality food.
My experience was so good that I have suggested this location for my sister's wedding.
The working staff is nice, always with a smile and can suggest you the best from the kitchen.

Was here for lunch, the place is beautiful, situated in Monza Park.
The food and impolite service are definitely not recommended. My pasta was sent back to the kitchen twice and there was no apology whatsoever, instead we were overcharged for coffee that was included in the bill.
