When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by how big the room was, as well as how fresh and clean everything was. The breakfast choice was really good - so much to choose from & delicious. Barfood & restaurant food gorgeous - chowder, mussels, seafood risotto, hake - the list goes on - all lovely! The atmosphere in the place... More

We both had lunch and dinner here and where very satisfied. Great food, perfectly cooked, tasted fresh. Nice wine. Friendly staff (Spanish) and good atmosphere. For dinner we made a reservation (high season). Afterwards there was live music in the pub. Thanks for the lovely evening.

Food here is nice with generous helpings. Staff are also very helpful. There doesn't seem to be an issue with toddlers either, heading there again tonight for some more

High quality Irish specialities sourced locally and cooked to perfection - simple and tasty, with a great kids menu too. It got a bit busy and we had to wait 10 mins for a table, but it was worth... There is not many choices in Portmagee. The Moorings is 1 of 3 or 4 places to eat in Portmagee. We had to wait over an hour for a table. I ordered the Cesar salad and chowder. Some of the salad was brown/not fresh. The chowder was average.
