The tasting menu was beyond my imagination, course after course, with options for all types of tastes. The recommended wine pairings, champagne and dessert wines complimented every bite of the way, although even water would have been enough with the extraordinary flavors. The cheeses and...dessert courses still have me dreaming of my return. All of this, combined with the romantic view on the edge of the universe, is a sensory experience for anyone and everyone. Tip: Make a reservation in advance for your romantic sunset dinner. This is a fine dining restaurant and you won't want to miss the moment.More

We spent 2 weeks in Italy and 2 weeks in Greece for our honeymoon and this was definitely our favorite meal. Not only was the view spectacular but the food was AMAZING. The server was wonderful and the beautiful sunset was perfect. I recommend making...your reservation early to get one of the 4 tables with the best view. They’re first come first serve based on reservation and it made the experience that much better. Highly recommend this place!More

Kapari Wine Restaurant was such a terrific ending to our time in Santorini. The food was not only beautiful to look at, like a piece of art, but also tasted absolutely delicious. Everything on the plate paired well with each other and each course was...stunning in its own way. My husband had the octopus and the lamb. I had the fava beans and mushroom pasta. Both desserts we had were divine. And also the Chardonnay we had was amazing (we were lucky to have the last bottle). Kapari would definitely be a great place for a special occasion. The view of the sunset and caldera was breathtaking. We love loved our experience and would recommend it to anyone!More

We stayed at the hotel and our room was directly above the restaurant so we decided to splurge the €95 each for dinner. End of season meant that we didn’t have to book far in advance for a front view table. Treated like celebrities. The...food was much more than three courses. Breads, pastries and a three course dessert that I couldn’t even finish. It was indulgent but we left feeling spoilt, full and relaxed. We tried to eat slowly to savour the beautiful flavours and quality of food. Also, lovely and quiet. We weren’t disturbed by other guests dining here during our stay. Also. Breakfast is served here and it was also amazing. Omelette and crepes were just right. The staff are also world class.More

Myself and my partner had booked a table here for an evening meal. We booked through an email. Once we got to the restaurant, the setting was beautiful. However when we looked at the menu, there wasn’t much we was feeling to eat. Especially as...we heard another waiter explaining to another table that they do not have numerous items available due to end of season. The choice was limited. We therefore decided to kindly explain to our waiter that we will go and eat elsewhere and we asked if we could get the bill for our cocktails. The waiter said that he will get the manager to come over. The manager came over and once again we explained this. The manager said that there is a €50 charge per person in that case. We asked him to explain why as we have not been informed of this before. The manager explained that he sent this information to us in an email along with our menu. I apologised and explained that unfortunately we did not check the menu and we must have missed the information about the €50 per person charge. I then walked up to the manager and explained to him that we would like to pay for our drinks. I had also explained to him that I have checked my emails and the €50 euro charge was not mentioned in any of our conversations. He then said that it must be on the website. He changed his story. From this moment, I already got a very bad feeling about this restaurant. He then started to explain that 6,000 people have come to his restaurant and everyone found something that they liked on the menu. He said that when I booked I made a note that it was my partners birthday and if they could do anything special. He said that there has not been anything special about his birthday as we missed the sunset, missed the food and asked me if all along we only wanted to come for cocktails. At this point, I was shocked. It’s horrendous to see how older managers still take advantage of young couples and think that anything can be said to them. The manager seems to have been very annoyed and all he cared about was money. He first tried to charge us with a minimum spend and tried lying that it has been written in the email. Then he tried to make us feel really uncomfortable just because he didn’t make much money from us. The comments he made were just disgusting. You could tell that this manager was all about money. There was no professionalism from his side what so ever. It’s a shame to be writing this review as this restaurant has good reviews. However, if the manager thinks he can get away with such horrible and unprofessional behaviour, then I believe he should take a negative review. I explained to the manager that we are the customers, and at the end of the day, we are the ones on holiday and we have the right to eat wherever we like. If we don’t feel the menu, we will not waste our money. After this the manager had allowed me to only pay for our two cocktails that we had, which were quite basic anyway. Since our stay in santorini, we have eaten in Cavo Tagoo, Lycabbetus, Selene, Throubi and La Colline. I recommend these fine dining restaurants to anyone. The service was absolutely incredible, true professionalism and I understand why these restaurants have the label of being the best ones on the island. They don’t need to prove this to customers as they stand out, unlike small restaurants that bad mouth and try to take as much money from customers. Due to the unprofessional service from this restaurant, I cannot recommend it to anyone.More

This is possibly the best meal I’ve had anywhere in Greece. It was absolutely superb. Red scorpionfish soup to start was a taste sensation. Belly pork for main was amazing ! The service was also excellent. Add the magical setting and the famous Santorini sunset...and what else could you want? Highly recommended !More

A real treat of a night and you got what you paid for. It may be expensive compared to some other restaurants in the area on paper but set price so similar when add everything up and the quality food and experience surpasses the price...and was outstanding. The seven course menu had enough varied options to make choice difficult, and each dish we picked was as amazing as the sunset views and the wine suggestion was spot on. Our main waiter Teddy was extremely friendly and professional. Memorable meal and night - thank you Bryan DMore

Kapari is an absolute must visit. We arrived around 8:30 for our reservation at 9, and were able to get a table on the upper terrace (an area with ~3 tables). Stunning view of the caldera right after the sunset. We stayed in Oia which...has the best views of the caldera overall, but Imerovigli (and this restaurant specifically) have the best sunset views IMO. Food was amazing (highly recommend the smoked octopus and pork entree) and the wine was great, but the service set this meal apart. Best service I've ever had at any restaurant. The meal was not inexpensive (95/p for the tasting menu) but was an incredible value for the entire experience and well worth the price. I agonized over making restaurant reservations for our honeymoon and I am so happy we went to Kapari, highly highly highly recommend.More

This is a small restaurant, very small. Even so, they very comfortably accommodated my party of eight. Their dishes are Greek and go for the fresh fish, which is truly fresh very well prepared and a delight.

Visited this restaurant with my girlfriend for her birthday and had the most beautiful meal we have ever had. Great food, amazing food and the views were unbelievable. Very, very expensive but worth it if you are looking for a once in a lifetime meal.
