I took a chance based on other TripAdvisor reviews and suggested to three friends that we give it a try. Good decision! Small but with a comfortable welcoming decor. Plenty of space (a chilly Wednesday evening at 6:30pm). The food was superb - a tasty salad with smooth dressing which had me wishing for more started off the meal. Beer,... More

We went to this restaurant because of good recommendations from other Americans who live in the area. We were very pleased. We don't speak German but the hosts do and we're very gracious. It's a family owned business and has a very comfortable feeling about it. I recommend this restaurant.

This is genuine German food well served by Michael & Karen with a nice welcome. Limited choice but everything is fresh and locally sourced.

Recommended by the staff at Hotel Avalon as "the best schnitzel in Germany" and I was not disappointed. An affordable special of schnitzel with a fresh horseradish cream sauce, buttered potatoes, and a beautiful fresh mixed salad was exactly what anyone should expect for the ideal meal in this area. Paired with a great on-tap Weisbier, this was a great... More

This came very highly recommended from a German national and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is great, a quaint, little restaurant with home cooked authentic cooking. The owners are great, my son spilled apple shorle all over the place and the owner brushed it off as a normal occurrence for little kids! Highly recommended! All our dishes (cordon bleu,... More

Do yourself a favor and stop in for amazing food and the greeting and service to match. The dishes are full and the bar is just right.

Every time I come to Landstuhl this is where I go for the best meal. This time I saved it for last and it was still the best. All my eating companions thought so as well. I had the of effect schnitzel with fried potatoes and a dry Riesling and it was fabulous. I hesitate to post this because the... More

This is the original mom and pop place. The food is beyond excellent and Anne is just the most wonderful lady we have ever met. We just relocated to Landstuhl and have declared that this is one of our favorite places. We will become regulars...maybe we already have. If you are looking for great food at an amazing price this... More

It's a very charming little Gasthaus that i went to a lot, and every meal i ever had was exquisite, and they make everything fresh. Definitely a Gasthaus to visit when in Landstuhl.
