The hostellerie promised much but delivered little. It is situated in several old buildings on a hillside in a quaint walled medieval village overlooking the surrounding vineyards. As a consequence, the layout is very disjointed and it would not be suitable for anyone who has...More

Dear 378Judith, We have read carefully your long comment. We regret that your Provencal stay with us did not live up to your expectations. For 49 years we have been welcoming an international clientele who, on the contrary, appreciates the cocoon of our hotel, our...More

Our dinner was an amazing gastronomic experience. We had trouble reading the French menu but that was not a problem as they sent someone over to look after us for the rest of the evening. The food was amazing, the wine was beautiful and the...More

As part of a large group eating here recently, I found their service efficient, professional and friendly. The food for a large function was necessarily perhaps slightly different to that which someone booking privately would have, but the quality was solid and consistent. It is...More

The modest entrance of Hostellerie Berard is hiding a gem of a restaurant at the back. We went for lunch and had a fantastic set menu with exquisite taste and presentation. Well worthy of its Michelin star and at reasonable prices.

What an experience -- the vistas, the food, the service, the wine. All were incredible. As it was spring, the chef started with baby spring vegetables for the starter. That was followed by fresh cod with asparagus risotto, which was delightful. The dessert featured a...More

Would recommend to anyone, expensive but the attention to detail, the flavours and the presentation is exquisite. Something to remember and an experience in itself.
