Find this place! Heading south on La Costanero, turn left at the Banco de Costa Rica, turn left again at the first dirt street, drive to the end and turn left. It looks like you're in someone's driveway, which you are. Walk to the end and have a seat. Enjoy. We found this place using Trip Advisor, and I wanted... More

This place is hard to find if you're not familiar with the town. Off the highway turn east at the Bank of Costa Rica. Turn left onto another dirt road (there is a sign pointing the way). It's to the left at the end of that road. The nachos were amazing, very fresh tomatoes and cilantro. Makes my mouth water... More

We went here one evening just before closing. Very chilled vibe and a great local and interesting menu. Felt like being in someones garden with a few rocking chairs scattered around. Make sure you don't miss the turning down the dirt track

My girlfriend and I were suspect in the beginning coming here for breakfast but were greatly surprised at how authentic the food was. Highly suggest this place.

Amazing food and great service. We wanted some true Costa Rican food and was told to check this place out. You will not go wrong eating here. We came for breakfast and are headed back for dinner.

We stopped by for a late breakfast on a whim and it was delicious. Huevos rancheros, pinto tipico, empanadas and french toast. The whole family loved the meal and the salsa was amazing. Very friendly and we wish we would have found this gem before our final day.

Muchas Gracias a Irene for always cooking with all her heart! No idea for how long she has been in that little cute kitchen, but she always tries to make the most out of your meal. Accomodated me as a vegan without any problems, explained myself and received delicious casados and a burrito once as well. I think I came... More

The locals know where to go get the best food! Dona Maria was a recommendation by our hotel staff and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is very casual with flavors that can't be beat. Garlicy sauce on the shrimp with black beans and rice, salad, two pasta salads. Try the refescos to drink before your meal...strawberry with leche is... More
