Often stop here for take-out to get their pizza. The veggie pizza is my favorite (tons of veggies) and they are easily willing to make the pizza exactly how you want - 1/2 veggie, 1/2 BBQ chicken is what we usually order. The rest of the menu is delicious too, but their take-out pizza is the best.

On the recommendation of a friend we got 4 pizzas to go! Not disappointed with any of them. You can also eat in. It is not a big restaurant with only 10 or so tables. There is also a small bar area.

Had the lasagna and the roasted chicken. Both were very good and large portions.. Was nice they had salad dressing for the salad which you don't always find in Costa Rica. The garlic bread with the lasagna was also good and not something we are used to having in Costa Rica.

We walked in, during the pouring rain, looking forward to some amazing pizza, and as soon as we started talking to the hostess we regretted getting soaking wet to come here. We aren't fluent Spanish speakers but we have passable skills. The waitress rolled her eyes, waved her hands and shook her head at us when we asked her where... More

We ate dinner here twice. The food is good. I had the beef lasagna and pizza. It was a nice change from the typical food we had been eating. Really like this place and would go back!

Great Costa Rican experience. Our family had a fun time hanging out with some of the locals the staff was so nice. The open air restaurant is normally a delight but this trip seemed to be the hottest on record for the Christmas holiday (2015) We'll back in 2016.

We visited Fogata about three years ago abd loved the open air restaurant with fresh chickens cooking in the brick lined fire oven. The food was great then and us even better now. The staff is friendly and even more so if you are practicing your Spanish, they are very forgiving and will help you understand abd speak the language.... More

Very delicious Italian fare. From chicken lasagna with a beautiful salad to all types of pizzas with little unexpected extras. Very comfortable outdoor atmosphere with a cute little garden area. Artisanal beer and delicious fresh cocktails.
