We two couples stopped in La Fortoga after walking the whales tail. Needless to say we where hungry and thirsty and La Fortoga did not disappoint. The beer was cold and we ordered one medium for the guys and one small pizza for the ladies it was more than enough. We will be back in the near future. PURA VIDA

Never had a bad dish from the extensive menu. Love the roasted chickens and any of the pizzas. Friendly staff and open airy dining area. A regular stop for us.

We enjoyed the experience we had. Nice setting and friendly staff. Very close to perfect food. I'd probably go back again.

We were staying in Uvita, and stopped here for dinner. Ordered a plain and mushroom, we all loved it, including the two kids! The crust was nice and crisp, the cheese was comparable to those in the US.

They have some great combinations for pizza flavors and I want to try every one of them. Anywhere that has a buffalo wing pizza gets my attention. We have tried 4 different pizzas there and have enjoyed them all. It's a very crispy thin crust which I like.

Often stop here for take-out to get their pizza. The veggie pizza is my favorite (tons of veggies) and they are easily willing to make the pizza exactly how you want - 1/2 veggie, 1/2 BBQ chicken is what we usually order. The rest of the menu is delicious too, but their take-out pizza is the best.

On the recommendation of a friend we got 4 pizzas to go! Not disappointed with any of them. You can also eat in. It is not a big restaurant with only 10 or so tables. There is also a small bar area.

Had the lasagna and the roasted chicken. Both were very good and large portions.. Was nice they had salad dressing for the salad which you don't always find in Costa Rica. The garlic bread with the lasagna was also good and not something we are used to having in Costa Rica.

We walked in, during the pouring rain, looking forward to some amazing pizza, and as soon as we started talking to the hostess we regretted getting soaking wet to come here. We aren't fluent Spanish speakers but we have passable skills. The waitress rolled her eyes, waved her hands and shook her head at us when we asked her where... More
