A great little place to eat lunch, have a snack or just cold lemonade after a long day of walking. Cesar has been chef at restaurants as far flung as NYC, South Carolina and West Palm Beach, and he's brought many of his culinary creations to this little cafe. Order from one window, pick up from the next, and have... More

We just had tea and homemade chocolate cookies, but the menu looked interesting. Locals love it, and convenient for tourists

Gourmet lunches by a professional Brazilian chef, Cezar, who innovates with traditional lobster dishes, refreshments, salads, etc. The Captain Lebow "King" is a Caprese Salad with lobster on toasted French bread with a light balsamic glaze. There's a BLTL, that's a BLT with lobster, yum. Traditional hamburgers, sandwiches, salads too- all island fresh produce with a light touch. Soups may... More

We always enjoy taking to short, friendly walk up from the harbor to eat lunch here. The sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced and the service is friendly. The only con is that the selection can be limited, but that is understandable given the island location.

Makes a trip to Great Cranberry worth planning, as if a reason we're necessary! Beautiful island, tie up at the town dock and walk or shuttle the half mile up hill to Hitty's Cafe for great sandwiches and cookies. Everything quite good and very interesting small historical museum in same building more than worthy of seeing. Island is beautiful and... More

huge delicious lobster roll- in middle of nowhere on a beautiful island- if you can there, go there. Such a nice friendly owner and a golf cart will take you back and forth to dock if walking is an issue

If you are lucky enough to find yourself on Great Cranberry, definitely stop and have something to eat. We had a great sandwich prepared by the friendly owner, who threw in some home-made (delicious) cookies when he discovered it was my birthday!

Simple island setting, and by far best lobster roll in Hancock County!! Caesar cares about excellence and it shows. A few minutes walk from dock, or take the free mega golf cart transit

We took the Islesford ferry out to Great Cranberry on a sparkler day. Just about a mile down the road is the great cafe attached to the museum. Having been to the island many many times, this cafe was a new spot ( 2 years old). The menu was beachy food but better than your average beach fare. The lobster... More
