Located at mile Zero of the Pacific Highway 101, this historic hotel sounds more romantic than it turns out to be. It has an interesting and storied past. The original Lund Hotel, built in the 1800’s, burned down in a forest fire. The current hotel was apparently constructed as the Malaspina Hotel between 1905-1911 and later renamed the Lund Hotel.... Interesting place to see. Beautiful setting and full of history. We arrived via boat and were greeted by a hotel staff member who took us to the dining room. We were given a talk on the history of the hotel. There were a lot of photos throughout the hotel depicting the history. The food was very good and since we... More

We stayed two separate nights here, while doing a kayak trip with Powell River Seakayaks. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds were firm.

We stayed 4 nights and found the hotel clean and good service. The ownership has just changed in April to being completely owned by the local First Nations and they're still working out a few kinks. If we had to call down to the front desk because something was missing they were very quick to get us the items. We... More

We live in Powell River and take visitors out to Lund. The hotel has a pub and a dining room. Haven't been to the hotel in a long time but Lund has a harbour for visiting boats.

We booked one of the upper suites with a balcony overlooking the bay. It was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this Hotel to everyone. p.s. It had a rustic romantic atmosphere.

We had a large room facing the ocean. It was very clean with a wonderful view. For an old hotel this is a great one, Staff were very nice.

Lund Pub and Bistro is In the more than a century old Historic Lund Hotel. It's had a noticeable facelift since I was last here forty years ago, but the view of the entrance to Jervis inlet from both the bistro and the pub are still the same as are the table configurations. The menu is much more healthy than... More

The biggest advantage that this hotel has is its proximity to the marina. Front desk staff are abrupt bordering on rude and seemingly not interested in the clientele. Will not be back
