Nice decor but ambience spoilt by blaring techno music not suited to the clientele (middle aged couples and families with kids) when we dined early at 7pm. I had the prawns for starters- at an expensive £7.95 I expected about 6 but only had 3 with some lettuce which needed a drizzle of dressing. The prawns were tasty but one... More

Thank you for your trip advisor feedback. We apologise that you feel short changed. We feel that our food is fairly priced and we only use quality ingredients. Everything we serve from our kitchen is made on site from scratch this is our ethos and are prices are set in accordance to our food quality. Best wishes. Sam Morgan More

First, my brunch visit. Excellent coffees and baked eggs with mushrooms and spinach with toasted sourdough last week. The eggs had runny yolks and the vegetables were full of flavour. For lunch on Sunday, I had roast pork and my husband had roast lamb, both cooked in the wood fired oven. Both were delicious. My pork came with two long... More

Never been a fan of coffee and wanted to try some again - which my partner explained to the guy on the desk. He told us to leave it with him. He made me a mocha which was lovely and chocolatey and I drank it all! It's shabby chic interior is so beautiful and relaxing. Great menu with lots of... More

Lovely brunch. Service is efficient; have been before and never find the service hugely welcoming or warm but they're not rude - they're pleasant, they just seem focussed on serving quickly and getting out of your way. I like that you can watch your food being cooked. My eldest is very fussy about eating breakfast out but has declared that... More

Never been here before despite it being open for five years, but I will come again. The menu isn't extensive but offers a good choice and the service is friendly and efficient. We had dinner although the restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch and offers a Sunday roast. From the street, the place looks small but it opens... More

I love Arboreal! I have been there for coffee and breakfast, late lazy lunches and in the evening for cocktails and dinner with friends - every time the food is freshly cooked with seasonal ingredients and delicious. There is a wonderful unique vibe about the place with super friendly staff. Can't wait to return.

Went in with kids, lured in by the Wood Burning Oven. Lovely atmosphere and staff - had a chat with the chefs too. We just had pizzas and a salad, all of which were good. All the smells from the kitchen spoke of freshness - no rancid oils, old cooking fats etc It's not super cheap but good quality ingredients,... More

My wife and I have eaten here twice and have been happy both times - the food is casual but imaginative, the service is professional and amusing....i.e. a little quirky, but fun. Our favorite table is the one facing the street, but the seating inside is good too, with a view of the chefs making the dishes. A good choice... More

A gang of us went for a birthday meal this evening. Dissapointing. Lovely to catch up with the girls and same lovely atmosphere, but I have to admit that once again I found the menu boring. Many of the portions whilst tasty are tiny. I went for a pizza as knew it would fill me up but felt sorry for... More
