I had the vegetarian platter for lunch , followed by a scrummy chocolate and orange cake. My husband had the cheese platter. Both were delicious. One... More

The Red Roof Cafe is not to be missed. It is in a beautiful location and do not be put off by the drive along the single track road; it is well worth finding. Follow the creative signs off the main road and you will not be disappointed...great soup or stew and even greater cakes to follow.. we shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding cake..amazing. Lovely friendly staff and cool decor. Would go back tomorrow if over that side of the island.

With friends we ate lunch today, local lobster and local salad leaves, wonderful dressing and bread, ham terrine made with Orbost pork, Darjeering first flush tea, great Coffey, then cakes to die for. Great service. Simply outstanding. Thank you.

Just visited this cafe and loved the food. Had the ham hock terrine with green leaf salad followed by coconut, cardamom and white chocolate cake with a green tea. Loved it.

Lovely views but even better food. The platter and lobster salad was stunning whilst the coffee is one of the best I have ever tasted. It is a shame we aren't locals!
