We set out to find this highly recommended eatery on a cold blustery day and gave up! On our second try, we were rewarded by being welcomed into a cozy, delightful cafe that served the most delicious food. The service is prompt and friendly and the food fresh, tasty and generally delicious. Note to folks accustomed to driving on wide... More

We were on the way to Neist Point but it was pouring rain so we stopped on the way! It's a great place and we were lucky to get a table. Fabulous home made food, great coffee. Highly recommended if in the area!

Recommended by the owner of our holiday cottage, everything is home cooked, even the fantastic chutney that comes with the huge cheese scones ( melt in the mouth )

We were staying next door to the Red Roof Cafe and were looking forward to a week of over indulgence on fine coffee and enjoyable food. The coffee was good, the food was good, but we would not rank it as outstanding or worth a detour. Friendly atmosphere, always busy (probably as the result of reviews on TA) and fair... More

After a wild and windy visit to nearby Neist Point we were more than ready for the warm welcome we received at the Red Roof café. We enjoyed an excellent Fisherman’s Platter and the herb-infused water was a nice touch. An excellent range of home-made soups, salads, scones and cakes is also available The café may seem (and is) quite... More

If you are in the area of Glendale, you really must visit here. The scones and cakes are all freshly baked and the coffee is made to order. The staff are very friendly and we were lucky enough to chat with the Scone queen herself ( delicious cheese scones ) who also prepare the great range of yummy cakes.

They serve local, fresh and organic foods at the cafe. It's well presented and tasted great. The cafe overlooks a valley with sheep. The cafe is off a single track road.

Loved this place. It is very remote and you wouldn't know what a treasure it is from the outside. Just a cute little white cottage with a red roof. When you walk in there is a modern interior with beautiful artwork and delicious smells. The menu is quite different, consisting mostly of platters. I had the garden platter which was... More
