Saw this place by chance and although it is off the beaten track it is well worth a visit. We only had coffee & cake but the food served to tables around us looked fantastic (as was the variety of home made cakes). A wide selection of tea was also on offer. Service was extremely friendly without being overbearing, the... More

Really good espresso coffee, fantastic home made cakes. We had already eaten lunch, but the menu looked really good. Want to go back for more 😊

Stopped off after a morning at neist point en route to Dunvegan Castle. We were delighted to stumble across the red roof cafe, it's eco friendly approach and attention to detail and quality produce was an amazing surprise and really appealed to us. We ordered a giant cheese scone and huge slab of ginger cake with a couple of cappuccinos... More

Popped in for coffee and cake with my mum and two daughters, well worth a visit! The red roof was a welcome sight after a climb up the hill!

Located in a beautiful remote setting on the west coast of the Isle of Skye this little cafe sits in a nondescript red-roofed cottage on the brow of a hill. The food is simple, local and excellent. This place is unpretentious and all the better for it. It has only 6 tables and s open from 12-5pm. Parking is a... More

Friendly staff and an interesting menu make this a great lunch stop while traveling in the Glendale area. I selected the fisherman's platter which proved to be a good for me with excellent salmon (cold smoked and hot smoked) and a really tasty Crowdie cheese.

We visited the Red Roof Cafe on 30th June. We enjoyed really tasty home cooked food & what can only be described as yummy cake! This is definitely somewhere to visit when you are on the Isle of Skye. We will definitely return!

Awesome spot to stop in for afternoon tea - I had a cheese scone with Beetroot chutney and soft cheese and a lemongrass tea and my husband had a coconut and raspberry torte with the BEST Hot chocolate we've ever tasted! Amazing, it had a twist of cardamon and cinnamon and was just simply awesome! Thanks so much for a... More

The Red Roof was a bit tricky to find, but we'd heard it was great so kept going...actually while looking for the Glendale General Store/Post Office! Cafe is small, and we had to wait quite awhile for a table. We waited outside with drinks - good thing the sun was shining, but oh, it was windy! When a table was... More
