We were lucky to get a table so book in advance. Lovely food, very friendly staff and once we finished our meal we sat in the bar which overlooks the platform, delighted to spot 2 trains as we sipped some of the many gins to choose from beside a roaring fire on a soggy Scottish evening!

This is an old railway station in layout and it sits on the current line. It was fully booked when we were there and advance booking is required. Two haggis parcels wrapped in filo pastry for £6 seemed pricey but the haddock and chips at £12 was better value. All washed down with draught Innes Gunn and very tasty. 4... More

The little bar was cosy and friendly with excellent service and a good range of beers. The restaurant too was comfortable. The waiting staff were really attentive and helpful. It was a good menu and the food was delicious.

What can we say the environment, staff and food were excellent. Highly recommend you try, you will need to book as very popular. Not open on a Tuesday.

Managed to book in here last minute. Fills quickly as not many tables but nice setting and theme to the restaurant. All food was cooked to order and arrived in good time and piping hot. Limited menu choice but good quality and mix of dishes. Cheesecakes were divine and meals were good portions. Reasonably priced for the food provided. Drinks... More

A real find! We were staying in Spean Bridge for 4 nights in July and we ate here every evening. The restaurant is situated in the old station - where else could you eat a meal and see the Caledonian sleeper stop right outside every evening! The menu was varied and catered for all tastes - good vegetarian options, and the... As a vegetarian you sometimes find it hard to find good chois at restaturants, not here. Good choce for soup of the day, and also a main course which was very satisfying. To add up the owner played a tune on his guitar, and the Flying Scotsman stopped for the night at the station of Spean Bridge and we got... More

Description
At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War.
Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!
