Great front bar but plenty of seating scattered round the pub. Very unusual place and perfect for a drink after visiting the castle.

The fish and chips at the Tudor Rose are among the best ever. They really know how to cook battered fish here and the chips are in our top three anywhere!

Walked in and was welcomed with smiling staff asked have we booked, I said no but we were shown to a table and enjoyed a very nice roast dinner. Only had small size dinner and that was ample for a senior. Will definitely be returning.

Been dining here for about a year now and the food is always cooked and presented to the highest standard. The atmosphere, location and of course the beer are excellent. If you need to take family or friends out for the afternoon or evening, the Tudor Rose will guarantee to impress.

We popped into the tudor rose after visiting the nearby upnor castle, we found it to be very accomodating with a nice selection of beers. The food was pretty good with a decent menu. There are 3 lovely live ducks living in the nice garden who like you to feed them tomatoes! Really nice place!

Although I've lived in the area for 40 years this is one pub I'd never visited, so last night I decided to have an evening meal here to celebrate my birthday. The reviews I read through on this page certainly helped me in my decision and were well justified. Our meal was excellent, both of us having Prawn Cocktail starters... More
