Visited today after a walk along the Saxon Shore Way. Welcoming staff, prompt service despite how busy they were, a pub full of character and a great Sunday lunch with 6 vegetable not including the roast potatoes. Just what was needed.

This is one of our two locals, and is exactly our kind of pub - friendly, lovely atmosphere, great food and welcoming staff. We have only been in for lunch and honestly we can't fault it. A good range of local beers too. Highly recommended.
